House breakin at USJ12/3B on 12 Jan 2010 8pm - with owner at home

My neighbour on USJ 12/3B was broken into on 12 Jan approximately 8pm. The owner lady had just returned, left her bag downstairs and gone up for a shower. A thief came in via the backyard 1-panel window by breaking the window latch and unscrewing the iron grilles. The thief took her handphone, and money from her wallet. Footprints indicate that he had gone up to neatly ransack the upstairs room too. When he left, he carefully replaced the iron grilles and closed the window, as if nothing had happened.

The backyard of this road is gated up. I was not at home, but I was told that my dog at the back barked very fiercely for 10 minutes, and nobody came out to check why.

Thankfully the owner was unharmed.

Anyone in here belonging to USJ12/3 area? Do we have enough support to start a Residents' Association and/or guarded community?

:) I have been asking the same question for quite sometimes d but nobody respond. Do u remember that there are some of the residences that pass around a proposal to GnG USJ 12/3? I have agreed to the proposal & pass the form to one of the member, but i forget to take down their name & hp no. Do u have their no? So that we can go n see them to follow up on the proposal.

Hi.. I too live in USJ12/3 and was one of them who initiated the GNG/RA last year. However we did not get a good response out of it hence we are on standstill now.

Would like to get this moving again and let me know if I could be of help.

Can we re-kick the proposal? I believe there are many new tenants in USJ 12/3 now as the old tenants have move out to Putra Height. A lot of renovation works going on now. If possible, v need to get a guide from other precinct that have successfully implemented the GnG.
