With all the not-so-good things happening in the country recently, we had our little incident as well near midnight yesterday.

Coming back from an appointment, our car decided to call it a day just as we were about to do the U-turn to SS19, after coming in the Fed Hway. As we cruise to a stop at the U-turn itself (luckily cars doing u-turn can still pass us comfortably), Mr & I looked at each other wondering "what do we do now?". Middle of the night, no AAM to call, only 2 of us.....Mr said we have to push the car to the internal roads in SS19, which is approx 100 meters away. What choice do I have??

We starting pushing when this little Toyota sports car stopped and this burly guy came out. I started thinking ' oh oh, is this good or bad?', and noted down the car plate no. A moment after, I could have kicked myself for having such thoughts.

Mr Toyota sports car, asked what's the problem, can't start the car, ok let's push it. Next we know, he went to his car and this pretty lady stepped out, wearing heels! And all 4 of us started pushing the car, stopping oncoming traffic coming from USJ direction. Car got started, and the pushing stopped.

In our haste to check on the car, we didn't manage to get the names of this amazing couple to thank them for their assistance. Given that they are just coming our from USJ, I hope that they are either staying in this area or have friends staying in this area who reads USJ.com. Please convey our most heartfelt thanks. Thank you very much, Mr & Mrs Toyota sports car! It is wonderful to know that there are still people out there who helps strangers, esp near midnight.

We will 'pay it forward'......

Credit must be due when there's a show of willing, kind and generous deed done for anyone in need of help. It makes the world more tolerable.

There are indeed still good samaritans amidst the chaos... Car enthusiasts are also more helpful when it comes to situations like yours.

I myself have helped a few stranded cars to push start... but only did it when i see that it's safe to do so..

[on a lighter note!] :D :p .... with heels... he must've went back to the car to get her assistance to STOP traffic.... :p

anyway, once in a while, its nice to hear good deeds done in this frenzied and crazy world...!!! :) Kudos to this civic minded couple....

I thought so too, until she started to help to push the car as well. Really pretty lady, both inside and out.

We are only thankful that it's near midnight and there are only few cars on the road.

Agian, our thanks for both of you! Just hope that someone who knows you will pass the message on.

Just curious, if 4 of you are pushing the car, who is steering the car then?

All is not lost in bolehland ! Kudos to the helpful couple.

On the subject of safety, I agree with Fabe18, it is especially dangerous when there is not much traffic, some maniac might be speeding round the bend.

Personnaly, I lost a cousin many years back. While he was helping an accident victim and a speeding van hit him.

Anyway, glad things turn out ok for you guys. Always remember SAFETY FIRST.
