Windscreen crack

Hello Forumers

Am in need of a good windscreen repairer for a small crack with deep cut due to a stone on the way back home from Kesas highway.

If you know of any windscreen repairer in USJ area, please provide me the contact number.

not sure if any in USJ..
but you can try glassmechanic in SS2..opposite pelita nasi kandar.

I believe the repair is only cosmetic ... so you don't see the chipped glass anymore. Just run the thing through your mind a bit ... do you think re-filling the little hole in the glass will add any strength to it? That part of the glass is now a weak point and if the glass decide to shatter one day in the future, it will start from there, whether you make it disappear cosmetically now or not.

Just my layman reasoning .. tell me if I am wrong

are u renewing insurance and roadtax anytime soon? if you are, can get insurance and change it one shot. a lot of shops facilitate this. dont think it's legal though. they'll break the glass and replace for you, then claim from insurance company

Thank you all for the feedback. Its a new car and l wouldnt like the idea of having the entire dismantling and refitting of the windscreen done now. l still would like to do a cosmetic touch up. Should it crack further , then l would do the necessary to have it change.......... :)

Try this shop in Taipan......direction :samsuri satay (facing d complex car parks)..across the lane....directly behind the end-lot shop is Hong Leong Bank.

They put signs outside d shop that they r specialist in this sort of windshield repairs....have NOT patronise the shop before...so...don't know the skills of this shop.
