I refer to the letter from the Mazidah & Angeline in respect to the issues brought forward to the attention of MPSJ regards to the traffic problem faced by residents of Jln USJ4/2 namely, increase of number of vechicles trespassing this road sp in the peak hrs which direct causing traffic jams, unbearable traffic noice and of course, air pollution.
The root cause to these problems due to the traffic light installed at the junction of Jln USJ4/2, opposite the Shell station and arising from this, many motorists preferred to use this route to cross over to the USJ4 residence. A letter was duly issued to ADUNCaw SBJ, DAto Lee Hwa Beng, and MPSJ, on the 9th April 02, proposing to:
1) Close the right turning point at Persiaran Tujuan towards Jln USJ4/2 and suggest motorist to use the turning opening at the next road USJ3/1 or USJ4/5. Likewise, the traffic light at the junction USJ4/2 is to be relocated the the latter inroads
2) Relocate the main Entrance of Sekolah Keb Seri Selangor for parent to drop and picj their children, to another gate preferably away from the residents' main entrance. ( Pls note this issue was previously raised in this web forum) Ideally, suggest at the point next to the school football field
3) Change Jln USJ4/2 to a one way traffic road. This is to curb the increasing number of vehicles surpassing at this point
Regretedly to say, MPSJ had decinied the abovementioned resident's proposals via its letter dd 4/10/02. This sheer lack of sensitnvess of MPSJ for not taking into consideration of the resident's views/grouses and neither, the council did offered any alternative suggestions to resolve these highlighted issues in their reply letter. This is indeed does not work in allignment of their aspiration, "BERSAMA KEARAH KECEMERLANGAN". We hope MPSJ stop practising ''armchair' directives and work towards a more interactive approach in resolving problems for the residents.
We hope MPSJ as well as ADUN, CAw SBJ, Dato Lee will relook the above case and with much anticpation, we hope to receive a more positive reply rather than, just declined letter.
Meanwhile I take the opportunity to thank the rep for their untired efforts in raising the problems on behalf of the residents. Their views truly reflection of the majority in USJ4/2.
MPSJ, pls reply, if you show you are caring. thks
