Dear Residents of USJ 2,

There will be a meeting with residents organized by the Pro-tem Committee of USJ2 Gated and Guarded Community on:

Date: 5 Dec (Sat) 2009

Time: 7.30am

Venue: Outside the compound of Masjid Al-Mukminun in USJ2

We hope our ADUN - YB Hannah Yeoh, Inspector Loi (USJ 8 Police Station), Yang Dipertua MPSJ - Datuk Adnan Md Ikhsan, Head of Rukun Tetangga of USJ 2 will be able to grace this event.

This is a preliminary notice that I am sending out on my own capacity to inform USJ2 Residents in advance as I believe early notification can get more attendance. The details are still being finalized by the Pro-tem Committee. Therefore, please return here to check the details again as the date draws nearer.

Please show your support by being present at this event. Let's together work on improving our community's security and safety from crime. Thanks.

Sorry I am not spamming. I am posting this message here as many forummers visit only this section of USJ.com forum. Hope this message can reach a wide audience of residents of USJ2.

You should probably try to put a large notice at USJ2 high traffic areas like the Petronas station...dun think many usj2 residents go online here...

there is another way... just a suggestion... get a print out on a paper.. talk to a local newspaper deliver man... include the notice in the newspaper to all the resident in USJ2

StonTemplePilot, thanks for your suggestion. I am not sure if the Pro-tem committee will be doing that. But that's definitely a good idea.

From the feedback about the USJ2 Residents meeting, I also realized not many USJ2-rians saw the notification in USJ.com forum or received email notification.

I just hope this message can reach those who are forummers here. And they can help to spread the message to fellow neighbours and friends.

It's sad that some of my neighbours expressed that they'd like to have a safe and secured neighbourhood BUT they claimed that they are too busy or not keen to participate in this neighbourhood effort. Sigh!! But of course, can't let their attitude bring the team's effort down. The GnG will not progress without support from the residents. We must go on to work on improving our security. :)

Another good suggestion. Will bring this up to the committee. We have a newspaper vendor in USJ2. Can get her to support this effort. Thanks, Chewie!
