Breakin at one home along this road at 3am, 12/11/09. Broke in through front main bay window, carefully removed grill aside and went inside looking around and even attempted to go upstairs, eventhough residents are all in, family upstairs, maid downstairs. Robber can't be identified positively due to darkness but noticed its a one man robber.
Resident didn't bother lodging report as no faith in PDRM to do anything.
Your contractor installed window grills ARE NOT ENTIRELY SECURE!, mostly bolted on with ordinary screws. A crowbar can easily wedge it apart. Just an alert.
P.S. Perhaps its come a time where homes NEED JAIL TYPE QUALITY BARS for windows and doors.. cheh! USJ isn't safe anymore, any home around here is high risk and vulnerable. I've heard of more than a dozen break ins around here including many vehicles stolen in the early morning hours. There's one home here who employ a round the clock uniformed security guard. The fear is very apparent.
