Resident of SS19/1 (Zon 1)

I will be presenting my community project to Jawatan Kuasa Penduduk Zon 1 this coming monday. unfortunately, i am not allowed to discuss the nature of my effort here in this forum. this post is just to raise awareness for people in Zon 1 that there is such a meeting that will be going on this monday the 9th of Nov. looking at the weak participation, i know that SS19/1 Resident's Association is not active here but i was told that they are very active offline. so, i would like to call for anyone who would want to practice the right and interested to attend this meeting to please pm me. to me this is more important then election because this is a matter of grassroots and the real 'jentera' to move our community forward.

webmaster politely 'tegur' me about promoting SJCC on this forum. i respect this as he put so much effort in this. keep your eyes and ears open for the new community center in town :)

Thank you for your interest. These are some of the events scheduled for next month (and one of the month after)

feb 6 : paintings exhibition
13 : movie night (titanic)
20 : guitar workshop
20 : belly dancing class
21 : potluck

March 6: poetry night (i mention this coz this is our next big event)

i hope to meet you soon to discuss how SS19 community can benefit from out center. we have facilities and its being underused right now. lets work together in promoting education, awareness and support for the community, by the community.

Dear Members Of SS 19/1 Community,

In our last gotong royong event we demonstrated a Qigong class for the participants. Since then we have been exploring on how we can conduct this on a regular basis. I am glad to inform that the qigong association has approved the conduct of the the class on regular basis. Puan Khadijah Shaari is graceful enough to conduct the class every sunday between 7-8 am. It will be held at 19/1G playground starting from 14th March 2010. For those who are interested please contact Penny Cheah @ 0129149707. This is part of our effort to get members together and
