Was in the car waiting, and had my side window tapped by a man.
He pointed at his handphone, which I suppose he is trying to sell.
I gave him the no sign and he left.
This has happened to me twice already.
The thing is that he doesn't ask "potentials buyers" walking on the street.
Only those in the car.
Anyone experience this?
Btw, the man is probably a Malay or Indonesian.
Sorry for the need to point that out.

My instincts tell me it's a stolen handphone and it's sold at a dirt cheap price. Avoid the temptation! :D

Yea..i had once experienced this before too. Also at Taipan. The digi centre that row.i was inside my car..then came across an indonesian man..Tapped my window..and took out a hp nokia5800.I suppose he tried selling it..or mayb jz to lure us out frm d car.But i jz ignored and no sign to him too..den he left.I was kinda shock when he tapped on my cars window.Lucky my car doors were lock tht time when i was in d car.SO MY ADVICE IS:ALWAYS KEEP YOUR CAR DOORS LOCKED at ALL TIMES!

We experienced this at the Dengkil rest area. We just alighted from our car; we were approached by one guy who flashed a handphone in his palm. We said no and when we came out of the toilet was approached by another guy using the same method. Looked like new phone in plastic wrap. They did not follow us but just accepted our "no" answer and walked off.
