In the beginning, i thought it was something all-encompassing and inclusive... like the 3 Musketeers thinghy "one for all and all for one"...

Then at the recent UMNO Assembly, the 1PM said NEP-type actions will still have to continue....

Then I saw thw newspaper Tender Notice for opening 150 branches of Mini Post Office cum Telekom Shop "Untuk Bumiputra Sahaja"

I decided then, its all just political rhetoric. Just plain bull... like someone else who first became PM in 2004 and said "work with me, not work for me" but while the whole country was working, he was taking a short nap every now and then....

Remember he is the chip of the old block. so all these 1apanama and empty slogan chantings are merely branding strategy to re-brand bn targetting at the rural folks without making key changes to the non-inclusive and discriminating policies. Of course the controlled mainstream media is helping to spread the propaganda of "people 1st, delivery now".

compared to his predecessor, i must say he has a better team of strategists at the 4th floor.

Better at what? Better in spinning and bullsh!tting the rakyat?

Remember the spin from Pak Lah's team "work with me and not for me"? That was one big success I tell ya, even gave him 92% of the seats in parliament when he went to the poll a few months later... but of course the rakyat got smart and saw thru the whole thing. But one cannot deny, Pak Lah's spin team was good in the beginning.

This 1PM of yours, unless he addresses the deficit and the rising prices... he can have the best PR team on 4th floor, he is not gonna be accepted. Take my words, he will be "seen thru" earlier than you think...

I agree, no difference from previous administration. Just something to fool the masses.

1Malaysia - no racist parties No more UMNO, MIC, MCA
1 School - no race related matters taught in school. Only all four main languages. Students should have a option of choosing between Mandarin or Tamil.

The only administration in my lifetime that I know benefited most malaysians is Mahathir. He gave us highways, LRT, Petronas Twin Tower and putrajaya to relieve jam.

What have you been smoking???

Twin Tower - how does that benefit me??

Highway: pay toll to get stuck in jam. Some "highways" are actually part of existing roads built with MY money. Sweetheart deals with highway companies with guaranteed profits/traffic volumes.

Putrajaya: Built in the middle of nowhere. Vacated govt offices in KL and Selangor now lying empty. Now roads in Putrajaya all uneven.

LRT: bad planning of routes; initial fares sky high. No passengers, bailed out with MY money again. Now many carriages are breaking down and long queues.

Need I go on??

He gave us highways, LRT, Petronas Twin Tower and putrajaya to relieve jam.Hey Pucman, your statement made me puke.... tell me how much does it cost you to drive on these highways in terms of toll? Who collects the tolls? How long is the concessionaire allowed to collect the toll?

LRT? One of the wose system ever in mass rapid transit adopted for KL... look at the incomplete network...

Petronas Twin Tower relieve jam? Tell me how.

Putrajaya relieve jam? Tell me how.

When Mahathir was PM, nothing came cheap nor free. How much does it cost you to take a cab to KLIA which he built?

How much did he sell MAS to Tajuddin and how much he bought it back for? How much was lost between the two periods?

about toll..

Senai Utara to Bkt Kayu Hitam, average 750km :- RM105.50 (toll house to toll house)

Hatyai to Bangkok, average 950km over :- FOC

About LRT

Every now and then, it break down. now got new coach..bet the price will increase next year.

Putrajaya

Government Dept moved there, court moved there...if want to run errands, have to take one day leave. somemore taxi to go there is expensive. bus service, got. but a waste of time. look like a dead city at night. very quiet..

Petronas Twin Tower

Not forgetting who 'donated' the land in exhange for certain things. and only why Maxis can build a tower there and not Telekom... you think about it...

1malaysia ?? ... arent we are malaysian since 16/9/1963..and why now only want to a big huha about it. When we need financial assistance from banks, we are being turned around as we have a bad records in CCRIS. Open newspaper today, you will see advertisements, buying car, blacklisted also can get loan. even for persoanl loan can get but not for us. I (non-'bumi') went to bank rakyat try to get loan, their answer, sorry, we only do ppl that is working with the government. Even MBSB (fully owned by EPF), only caters for government staff, and if u r blacklisted you can apply...

look at the transportation system, bus not on scheduled, bus driver smoking in the bus, drivers with drug records or even a long list of traffic offences are still driving the bus.

taxi.. go petaling street, sunway pyramid, klcc, ask the driver to take you someplace, you see how much they will charge you. furthermore, the taxi condition is really bad. smelly. but kudos to those taxi driver who makes an honest living.

During those old days, when i was young, around 80's or 90's..i can go out, walk around at night even without fear being rob, even we hardly hear any breakin, we know our neighbours,

but now...do you know your own neighbour?? can we be sure that nothing will happen if we go on a long holiday.

those days, where we hear gated community, securities patroling neighbourhood. now we are paying for our own safety.

R - Tunku Abdul Rahman
A - Abdul Razak
H - Hussien Onn
M - Mahatir
A - Abdullah Badawi
N - Najib

i do not want to go on more...sure it will be a very long list...

I want to see actual postive changes rather than hot air rhetoric. I'll start believeing in what politicians say when the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. Come 2012, it may not make any difference according to doomsday soothsayers. Darn, even before the 2013 elections.

I was once told that RAHMAN "theory" stands for the 6 UMNO PM before the end of the UMNO-led BN rule :D

So, maybe the next "theory" should be ANWAR - A.N.W.A.R .... your guess is as good as mine as to who they will be except for A=Anwar Ibrahim  It is the W that puzzles me, probably a Kelantanese PM - since most of them starts with "Wan" something .....

flamethrower, you do sound like some of the old members who had this habit of posting any thought that came to mind of that member and that end up with a lot of babbling in the forum threads.

If you were an old member (with a new nickname), you may remember those members. Then you may also remember that they have been flamed off the forum by others who could not accept such babbling... not that I support the act of flaming.

Now you come on with a nick of 'flamethrower' seems to send negative perceptions to some of the current members and that s probably why you attract negative comments ...

Look, the idea is actually noble but perhaps long overdue and Malaysia is only united on the surface and it doesn't go any deeper. Like someone says, It may stay only an IDEA!. Tunku Abdul Rahman envisioned a really united Malaysia where everyone is equal and that didn't really happen. Many policies, implemetations, resurgence of religious, political and racial rhetorics further divided the country. There's numerous reasons why this land is soon becoming a no-hoper and beyond redemption. Leaders can only do so much but with many in office so out of touch with reality , how leh???.
The 1st thing they should revamp is the EDUCATION SYSTEM and change all to ENGLISH LANGUAGE!...That oso they can't do!
