Is it true car manufacturers will come up with a new model, the 3 years later a face-lift and another 2 years later a new model. With the recent Camry face-lift means we expect a new model in 2011?

I suppose thats the case due to the belief in the shorter 'life cycle' of a product nowadays. Thats true for Camry but Proton Saga and Wira has the longest product life cycle yah... LOL!

thats quite right for most models...for example the bmw E90 launched in 2005 has facelift in 2009 called the LCI and due for replacement in 2011

There's a new Volvo S60 in the horizon... probably launching early 2010. This one probably is a good seller since many are afarid to touch a C Class or Beemer 3 series because of car jackers.
