Naka, I am sorry but I have removed your link to a particular Utube URL. It's not very appropriate for you to have placed that link here. KIndly be more discreet.

Naka,
Please explain to me what you meant by that comment?
Who was deviating?
Isn't this a twitter thread?
Do you understand what a twitter is?
I am giving you a chance to explain yourself because I am getting abit confused..

Mr Chang,
Sure, I will explain myself once I go through the threads later on in the day.
Naka
Mr Chang,
Sorry, I am flat out with other works today.
I should be able to reply by tomorrow.
OK, let me start from the beginning, it's a bit windy, so do bear with me:-
It is good that you asked me to explain and I appreciate this because we are all here in this esteemed Forum to relax and to share our thoughts in a friendly and in good internet manners.
I also do not want this acrimony with Sentinel to get out of hand. We started off well but lately he likes to pick on me.
These issues came out in 3 threads and if I had spoken my mind in those threads, they could be easily be termed as ' hijacking the thread' & sent to the Banana Plantation for rehabilitation. :D
So I thought why not use Chatterbox where I spend quite a bit of time daily and Twitter allows you unlimited words to release your tension. It was explained very clearly in the main page of the Forum as 'Chatterbox--The sub-forum for a friendly chat and relaxation to cool off the rigors of the rat race.' This is precisely what I was doing and to borrow the words 'to cool off'
The 3 threads are:

I was having a coffee after lunch at Starbucks here at Gurney Plaza.... was watching in amusement how a lady couldn't do side parking with her MyVi... then her boyfriend became the hero, got down and took over the wheel. He had problems too... but it was free entertainment for many of us and I won a MYR10 bet from a buddy.... not enough to pay for the iced latte decaf
Naka--#15
This is not a joke----how can such thing happen today?
Sentinel--#17
You missed the point yet again.... anyway what were you trying to say?

Naka--#19
Heheheee, i think u missed the point lah. ...u said a lady & then bf---I tot, assuming, they are young , this should not have happened. Young ppl in the city are likely to be more smart & well prepared & must have gone through Driving School properly.
If they couldn't park, it is joke.
Sentinel--#20
You missed the point alright....

With that, I backed off completely...peace.

If I am still staying in USJ, you can bet yr last ringgit I will. I will not just complain. You can bet I will even start community camping at Subang Ria Park.
Naka--#33
..OFF-TROPIC
Community Camping at Subang Ria Park?
Looks like you forgot you were supposed to be an Assistant to Mr Rajiv.
Would your Boss condone your action?
(This is my last reply before we are blamed for hijacking this thread.)
.....
Sentinel--#34
Where have you been? It is obvious you do not know what I am referring to and yet you claimed me off-topic? Again, you missed the point, big time.
USJ residents previously camped at the playground between USJ4/6 and USJ4/9 when developer wanted to build 2 condominium
blocks on the playground. We camped there and hold placards and banners until the press came and then the Selangor MB came too... I was suggesting this same action for saving Subang Ria and there was a thread on this.
What to do, you miss the point again....
p.s. BTW its off-topic and not off-tropic. Off-tropic will take place in 2 days time ie Sept 23rd when the earth moves / shifts on its axis... its called the solstice actually....
...
Who was deviating?
These 'missed the points' instances really irked me. But I backed off the first few times.
But he just couldn't see my last point, he did not answer my question of him being An Assistant to the Councillor. Or how he can be of assistance to the Councillor. Instead he went to boast what he had done. I am not interested
of what he had done previously.
Sentinel missed the point-big time.
But I did not used the word 'missed the point' which irked me, instead I used a softer word 'deviate.'
As usual, Sentinel wanted to show off. He pull his fast gun & even pointed out a typo error. Then he tried to teach me that 23rd Sept is a Solstice. I did not counter him on this. I did not take the bull by the horns for 4 reasons.
1..Sentenil took pride in pointing a typo error.
2..I studied Surveying as part of my course and I should know solstice and
he studied some Geography, so I gave him the benefit of doubt.
3..I did not want to hijack the thread.
4. And I had said already, 'This is my last reply.....'
Like I said earlier, I did not use the main Forum to discuss these trivial issues as they are deemed as 'hijacking the thread.'
So I looked for a place to post & then went for Chatterbox.

Here's another disaster that could have been prevented.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EM0...feature=related
This Airbus is doing a flypast along the length of the runway at Habsheim airport. There are only 2 runways and I assume that the Airbus is using runway 2, the longer one at exactly 1000 metres in length, 240 m asl. He couldn't be approaching from Runway 20 because the terminal is on the left side of the plane.
Both ends of the runway is covered in thick woods. Because of the extremely short length of the runway he can only do a very low speed, very low altitude flypast. He is under pressure to perform.
He's probably max alpha (angle of attack) doing 160 knots, very close to stalling speed. Flaps at 2nd or 3rd position, intended for full lift at slow speed.
Autopilot Master On, Heading On, Altitude On, at 900ft asl, (i.e. only 113 ft above runway) Possibly Autothrottle on, speed set at 160 knots maybe......etc...etc..

I better stop posting lah... every video clip I post you ended up writing a synopsis... heavy stuff lah Aaron, this is a community forum lah brader, not aeronautical science class... ...
My comments/Observation.
The 'this is a community forum lah brader, not aeronautical science' is uncalled for.
Who is Sentinel to make that conclusion?
AaronOng must be the first pilot in this Most Esteemed Forum to try and explain something about flying a plane.
Why shoot him down?
Sentinel may not like the explanation but I enjoyed reading his analysis and I am sure others also appreciate AaronOng's contribution. (BTW, I do not know or have the privilege of meeting AaronOng or any of you)
There are a lot of Forums around but they are not properly managed . You find swearings, 'F' words etc here & there.
But USJ Web Forum is different. USJ Forum attracts Accountants, Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers, Architects, Graphic Designers, other professionals, pilot and others.
Why Sentenil want to shoot down a pilot and why nobody tell him to 'mind his own business.'
I had said what I wanted to say for a while but there is no clear guide-line to say where we can voice our comments.
Thank you all for reading my thought.

I hope this would not be too long and boring ... i will have to do it in measured pieces, so bear with me (again)
Firstly, in the twitter thread, Naka just popped in and made the first comment you see in this extract ... obviously an arguement carried over from other threads as Naka had confessed here in his explanation ( I shall presume Naka is a male).
my take at this point ... Naka was having a grievance and decided to start a fight in the "safety" of the chatter box and thinking that "twitter" is a free speech location. This already broke Rules 2a and 2b -
2 Be Civil
1. No attacks, threats, insults, name-calling or inflamed speech for the sake of argument.
2. Personal arguments must be carried out away from the public discussion forum and dealt with in private. Please use the Private Messaging (PM) and email systems instead.

Secondly, Naka is peeved with Sentinel's "you missed the point" comment. I believe this really got Naka off his rails and thus his beef with Sentinel. Let me get the chronology right when that "missed the point" comment really started...
On 17/9/09 at 5:48pm,
Sentinel said "..you missed the point" when Naka commented "Yes Hummer 4x4 but a lot of ppl have lawn mover-like vehicles---where got chance..."
Just a note to Naka - you did miss his point ... that was because when Sentinel mentioned about using the Hummer, he was referring to being safe driving a Hummer. The "missed point" comment was in response to Naka's earlier comment about "Reckless drivers not only cause hardship & agony to themselves but to others too"
I think here, Naka thought Sentinel was wishing he had a Hummer so he could bully other smaller cars when in fact Sentinel was just saying he wished he was safe within the huge Hummer. So, Naka, can you see where you missed Sentinel's point?
However, I think it was also possible that Naka was peeved with Sentinel "boasting" about wanting to own a Hummer (very expensive car).
On 17/9/09 at 6:42pm,
Sentinel said "..you missed the point" again when Naka commented "I know, I know, you are going to give the shirt off one's back". Naka obviously thought Sentinel, in not depositing the money, was waiting to "top-up" the donation with a large amount later (hence his comment "shirt off one's back"). Obviously a poke at Sentinel "boasting" again. Frankly, I do not know what Sentinel meant when he said he was "waiting to see the end results" of the donation drive. Maybe he was just going to topup to a round number ... but Naka already assumed there was another boast in Sentinel's comment.... see how the irritation is building up in Naka's mind regarding what he perceived as another "show off" comment by Sentinel?
On 19/9/09 at 4:30pm,
Sentinel said "..you missed the point yet again" when Naka commented "This is not a joke----how can such thing happen today?" to Sentinel's observation of a guy being unable to repark his girlfriend's car. At this stage, Naka was actually saying that it is impossible to believe that in this day and age that young drivers did not know how to park. Why did Sentinel say Naka was missing the point (again)? I think Sentinel sneered at present-day drivers with kopi-O licenses while Naka said that in the past, people had no driving licenses. To me Sentinel was just saying that it is not only in the past, but he did see someone who could not park recently. Maybe Naka got the point, but he sure wasn't happy to be ribbed by Sentinel once again with the same line.
Up to this point, we know where the irritation was ... it wasn't really about "missing the point". Naka just couldn't stand all the references to (1) the expensive vehicle and (2) the assumption that Sentinel was going to donate lots of cash.... Naka just have this irritation with what he perceived as boasts.

Let me finish this before I go to sleep...
There is really no need to "explain" further what I thought of Naka's other complaints. Apart from the original irritation with Sentinel boasting about his wealth (Hummer and topping up donations) and abilities (assisting the Councillor), Naka was actually irritated that Sentinel was constantly picking on and correcting his comments (Solstice vs Equinox).
Firstly, I would conclude that Naka got angry and overly sensitive to "boastful" comments by Sentinel. However, I do not understand why anyone should get irritated if another party told the world about his possessions like big, expensive cars and bikes? Naka and some others probably are quite irritated by this.... Look, I cannot fault anyone if they prefer to tell us what they have in their porch or in their banks. Can we agree that anyone can say what he likes so long as he does not bad-mouth others or make seditious comments? it is a free world after all (within limits of decorum, of course)
However, Sentinel should not make comments on typo errors made by others ... there are a alot of typos (I just made one there) and grammatical errors that stick out like sore thumbs but I resist the urge to tell people of their "poor" command of English or their poor typing skills. Further more, another beef by Naka is that Sentinel had told others off about "hijacking" the threads. Well, he could have done it nicely, maybe that would have been better .. but I do take note of this complaint.... if anyone of you find anyone "misbehaving" (like hijacking a thread), please report to me - you have the PM, and you can also click on the warning triangle in the top right-hand corner of all posts - that is to "report bad post". The correct way is not to take the moderation into your own hands - it irritates people - just report to me, and let me do the dirty work. It is a moderator's job, not yours. On this complaint, Naka have a valid point.
What is the score?
Naka 1, Sentinel 1
Both have a fault each up to this point
Sentinel percieves Naka as stalking him and making comments about discussions he was making with others (especialy the one between Sentinel and Aaron). It looks like Naka hates Sentinel's comments and it got to a point where it became an obsession and everything went downhill from there.
Naka ought to stop reading Sentinel's posts if it irritates you that much. Don't get obsessed with Sentinel
Sentinel ought to stop telling other members off about their mistakes. Sometimes things said on the Forum can be perceived as arrogant because we lack visual cues like body language or facial expressions. Plain words look curt on the screen, especially if it is a reprimand.
Can we live and let live? I hope so. If not, I still have the pisang gorengs or hot oil waiting in the plantation. That 'solution' is much easier on me than losing my sleep over a personal argument (it is past 2am now!!).
Enough said.
