I am desperately trying to contact a geophysicist I met while stationed in Brunei. His name is Andrew Joseph Davidoff of just plain Andy Davidoff. He was previously with Murphy Oil at Petronas Twin Tower. A google-search found him with a Linkedin contact showing him now working in Thailand with another oil & gas company RWE. There is no phone or email coz his Linkedin account is "protected"....

Can anyone suggest how I can get his contact email or telephone number in Thailand? Is there a "103" in Thailand we can call from Malaysia, if yes how? Many thanks in advance....

if u can wait, PM me the details (full co name etc...) and i shall try to hook it up.

If it's RWE Energie, it used to be in Tonson Tower, Ploenchit.

You may try a short one-liner email to andy.davidoff@rwe.com . :)

Thanks Geordie! I sure will shoot off a one-liner after this!

Just to qualify ..... RWE staff worldwide use the dot-rwe-dot-com addie, with first name-dot-surname as starters. So, if Mr. Davidoff is really with RWE, that should be his email. But try with his proper first name (Andrew) and also, the shortened version (Andy). "Hello, Andy. Is this your current email addie ? Your best mate, Sentinel, here".

Aiyoh Geordie... both andy.davidoff and andrew.davidoff failed.... I am trying his initial now i.e. aj.davidoff....

But ... but ... RWE email addies appear to go by full names ....

Good luck anyway !

Sentinel, for Linkedin:
First, sign up an account (free) for yourself
If you do not want to upgrade your account (at a fee), there are many ways to go around it (the 'protected' details) in order to get in touch foc. I usually find my contact this way without paying for the upgrade -->

After signing in, search for the person you want to contact, on the result page, in this case "Andrew Joseph Davidoff" -->
Some of the function/link (such as "InMail" is to contact the person directly) will only be valid if you upgrade your account.

If you wanna do it free: GOTO
"Add Andrew Joseph to your network", and drop a short message/personal note to him.

And wait for his response. Good luck.

...if your want to get connected fast, you can also click at any of his connection on Linkedin, and drop a note to any of them, one of them will probably has his contact details....

I tried lah kkearthling to add Andrew Davidoff to my LinkedIn by inviting him but the next step was "email address"... sangkut... and I think USD25 per month is a bit too much for this account since I am semi-retired and don't use it for business....

sentinel, you do not hv to type in his email add on linkedin. the email add is prompted by default/automatically at first, but you can get around that by clicking yourself as "Friend". Try again.
