i found out that there is a new shop opening just between nasi kandar makbul and perodua USJ 9.....they were selling fruits but wats interesting is tat they have alot of drinks too like mix and match juice as well.but wat i like the most is they recomend to me avocado ice blended hmm...tats something very new to me tat i have nvr try b4 full marks....name of the shop "fresh valley"...u guys must try this.....trust me..

When you goes around in all the various threads in this forum to promote your own place, I think it is only fair for our new friend here "Auf" to promote Fresh Valley as well. After all, this is allowed.

Give others a chance to promote theirs as well - instead of making snide comments.

One thing about this forum is that we have quite a following of people who actually read and response to the write up.
I responsed as one maybe as a snide remark like Sentinel but just minimise with one sentence as i couldnt stand the phrase "trust me" under pretense.
You heard it so often especially from the gomen. I do not have grudge for fellow caterers who wants to promote thier place but at least be honest about it. Be proud of it.
I think there was a thread under Baby T cafe where it was giving 100% write up promotion and usj readers have posted negatively about it .Me as a fellow caterer, I did not and would not complain about it. I leave that to the admin.
And I have been trying hard refraining from promoting my product as I have given priority to healthy dining instead. That is why my postings is about healthy, healthy, and healthy food mostly. The times that I can be extremely critical are perhaps Mac D and KFC. I can write all day places and names about certain shops especially of cleaniless and food prepation but I dont and wont simply because I am in the trade.
It is an honor where I have USJ readers who came and told me that they enjoyed the info I posted under healthy with no MSG. Likewise, I have been promoting usj.com to customers because it is interactive and infomative like crime alert,particularly "political issues". Moreover, the healthy info here is more detailed than my own blog site because I just post to responses.
The most recent comment left by Rich would substantial what I am. 80 % of the 2 hours dining experience he been bored ;) by healthy issues. 10% by the apologies as I offered premium replacement of Chilean Seabass to one chicken dishes which was not up to expectation. 10% we talked about life in USA and Australia.

i think Zing... is talking all about healthy food - no MSG-how to check the ingredients in the bottle.I support his good intentions..furthermore i always look forward towards his article.Do good , be good, and always good...Cheers!

I had said it once before and of course, not everyone read it.

We have a no-advertisement and no-business-solicitation policy in the Forum. However, this does not apply to food ... mainly because we have a "Cari Makan" channel where Patrick is the chief food-critic. All the postings in Cari Makan can be taken as a promotion of food outlets. So how can we stop others from promoting their food outlets?

However, Food is not a simple matter to promote. most patrons will eat and keep quiet if it was good but if it was below expectations, their negative comment will destroy all your efforts to promote it in the first place! So do not think it is being smart promoting your own food outlet if you are just mediocre because it is committing suicide in public.

If you are good, then my best regards to you. But if you are making false claims on the Forum, then I will laugh silently as you shoot your own foot in public.

Maybe I was wrong in reading your remarks when you quoted as saying you are surprised or impressed the kawan baru came in with one posting to tell people of blended avacado. The message was vague to me. But my mine was snide remak indeed when I heard overused phrase like Trust Me. Anyway, no offense was intended and nobody was pushed off the building in the process. :cool:
