Since our children's future will lie in the hands of the politicians who will decide on what they will study and in what language would it be inappropriate for all the cabinet ministers to declare where their children are studying? Or to put in a different manner, list down the schools( and in which country) their children have studied and are studying in now right from primary one to whatever. This survey should include all the politicians from the opposition as well, well maybe all members of parliament to start with.

We need someone to lead the country with a vision and heart. Without these two criterias our children are the one to suffer.

Descartes Education Counselling Centre, a non-profit organisation will be organising a talk by former and current students from some of the top universities in the United States on getting into these schools.

The panelist will comprise of alumni and students from Ivy League universities such as Harvard, Dartmouth, Yale and Cornell, as well as other top liberal arts colleges such as Swarthmore, Middlebury, Bates and Colby.

They will share their personal experiences with the US education system a system that reputably produces very employable graduates and world leaders with great competency and capabilities. They will also provide interested students with valuable information about selecting the right university, completing application forms and other practical information on gaining places in these schools.

Students will also learn the tricks of where and how to secure yourself a US university financial aid, unusual perks and opportunities offered under the US education system (foreign study programmes, self-designed curriculums, freedom to explore personal academic interests, etc.), aspects of a vastly different culture and student life. And to top it up, we have an interactive session, where you can mingle around and talk with the alumni yourself personally.

Therefore all students in the top universities and colleges in the United States for undergraduate study or those who are still figuring out what to do for their tertiary studies, come join us for the talk at:
