Please let me if there is any commissioner around subang area.

My friend, he asked for Subang area and you directed him to Dataran Merdeka!!

David, there is one within walking distance from your USJ 6 house. There is a Mr Liow who is operating his office at Taipan at Jalan USJ 10/IG next door to Lorong Seratus Tahun Cafe (opposite McDonald's) on the first floor. I got his handphone number displayed on staircase but could not reach him. I guessed I must have keyed in the wrong number. It is most adviseable to get his handphone number as I believe he may not be in his office all the time so better check him out before going there. By the way, the market rate for each document certified is between RM 4 and RM 8. I have not used his services before as I am using one whom I normally call to meet me at Mydin to sign those documents as he lives nearby. When I asked him if I can recommend him to fellow residents, he said No as he is not active now. He is doing this as a long time friend. I am touched to have a personal Commissioner of oath on call!!

these comm for oath are nothing but LEECHES! These useless good 4 nuthin BUMS are mostly retired gomen servants with license and chop to earn our hard earned money.

They dont know u for nuts! yet they get to certify that u r who u r for a paltry sum of RM4.00! Or that yr photostat document is as per original, as if they care!

bcos of some friggin red tape, I have to pay a stranger ratlike commissioner for oath to certify that I am who I am..and he with a sickening looking low class weasel, mousy leech that he is, didnt even glance at me to check against my mycard but more interested in my rm4.00.

Commisioner for oath? Nuthin' but Cheap skate creeps and leeches!

I would be ashamed to have these commisioner of oath leeches and BUMS as my father or relatives or friends! No shame! No pride! Tak MALU!

I used the one in SS15 about a month back, so I don't know... if you say no more there, you must be referring to a recent scenario.

Anyway the 1 I went to was located somewhere between Burger King and Maybank[the old Maybank Finance]. When I went there, there was a guy in the office who collected the docs to be signed and asked me to come back after 5pm. Apparently the C of O only comes in later, or the sort.

Can't remember the exact address, but in fact it was an urgent need and a friend and I just Googled it and found out there was 1 in SJ.

Here...I Googled it for you. CLICK HERE (http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=commissioner+of+oath+in+subang+jaya&fb=1&split=1&gl=my&view=text&latlng=643405930623529548)

I am utterly shocked that you termed these people as leeches and good for nothing bums. If the RM 4.00 is your hard earned money, then where is your sense of dollar and sense when your pay thousands for your superbike.[/QUOTE]

They dont know u for nuts! yet they get to certify that u r who u r for a paltry sum of RM4.00! Or that yr photostat document is as per original, as if they care!

By the way, nothing in law that says that the CO needs to know who you are. In fact, you can look like a monkey for all he cares but the documents you presented him to certify are not adulterated. They just need to be honest and truthful. They are just the eyes for the government or private bodies who need somebody to compare the original with the photostated one and certify the photocopies as true copies without any defacement or alteration. I will pay you RM 100 if you can get one CO to close just one eye to do otherwise or RM 200 to close both eyes. Just because you come across one or two does not warrant you to take a swipe at others who are trying to make an honest living.

Since CO are appointed and trusted by the government, they can be deemed to be of service to the government and the public. Without them, you have to drag the holders of the original IC to JPJ to sign the vehicle transfer form. Without them, you have to send your original documents to the authorities when you need to do some transactions with them be it an application for licencing, loans, etc etc. Without them you will be greatly inconvenient to the extent that your presence will be required which may include flying to the destination.

bcos of some friggin red tape, I have to pay a stranger ratlike commissioner for oath to certify that I am who I am..and he with a sickening looking low class weasel, mousy leech that he is, didnt even glance at me to check against my mycard but more interested in my rm4.00.

How rich can a person get when he charges only RM 4 per certification? Is the business so good that you see a long line in front of his office? From my many associations with these people, I would say that they are doing a national service for the government. The RM 4 fee is dictated by the government. If you care to notice, in my earlier posting, I mentioned their fees ranges between RM 4 and RM 8. I am the kind of person who will pay more if I find their service good and even more if the service rendered is beyond the call of duty. Compared to you who charges thousands for a consultancy work which does not even come with a guarantee that your findings will work, these people who are usually retired people are just earning an honest living to feed his family just like you and me. Go after those crooks who are reaping the rakyat millions lah and leave the poor CO some space and peace of mind to do his job.

Sorry, I have to rebuttal you in this manner as I can't take these type of sweeping comment lying down.

THERE'S NOTHING YOU I OR 25 million rakyat can do.
If a document requires CommOath stamp, you need it to be done and bear the cost. No if's, no but's..or the document won't go through morever if its a government document application or whatever it is.

In Malaysia, there's many policies and proceedures that everyone HAVE to abide and obey, even if it means that fler is raking in Rm5 per stamping and signature for hundreds and thousands of forms daily. The gahmen insists on you, I and 25million rakyat to abide..we HAVE to abide.

THE GAHMEN DOES NOT TRUST ANYONE OF YOU RAKYAT!..PERIOD!..thats why there MUST BE AN OATH and a million other regulations. MALAYSIA IS AN OVER-REGULATED COUNTRY!...get the point?

It may be disgusting or puke all we want, but thats life in Malaysia.. obey, abide or don't do at all.. only at the next ballot box..AND HOPE things will change!

His name is ASIR. Tel: 56353154.
HP:012-9110006. Add: 26-B, JLN SS15/4D
Apparently he has retired, and his friend is signing after 5pm.
That's why he asked his client to leave the document and come back after 5pm.
Has been using him for many years for my company's documents.

Buddy... but some do... their just sign the documents only, collect the RM10 fee (that was what I was asked to pay in PJ New Town).... when I when to get an JPJ required salinan Kad Pengenalan of the previous owner certified/verified... [Pemilik] for a ownership transfer. Funny thing - he didn't even ask for the owner and/or no original IC was inquired. Just "WHACK" and his stamp was all over the photocopy IC and forms...

Imagine if I had quietly swiped the owner's IC, got it photostated and then got the transfer done...

shessssh!! I imagine too much.... :p

I passed by the Mr. Liow's office during lunch hour and managed to get his contact number this time round. He can be contacted at 012-2139901 0r 013-3918802. I spoke to him and he said that he may not be at his office all the time. Call him and he can even rendezvous with you to get your document certified. He lives in this community.

Am just wondering, if we could choose to approach a Govt officer (graduates only - ie in the professional and management scale) to validate and sign the documents? This is an option for applications for maids. If you have a friend in the Govt service, this should be free.

I just submitted my application for withdrawal of my Singapore CPF and they require that the documents being either certified by their officer at the Singapore Embassy (which is only in KL) or a Notary Public. A Notary Public (is not a Comm of Oaths) is usually a qualified advocate & solicitor appointed by the Attorney General. Expensive lor... RM50 per document, aiyoh!

...then my friend, at least you know that such withdrawals can only be done when you are TRULY certified as who you are, by a person of some credibility! (in the USA, anyone above 18yrs old can apply to be a public notary, stringent rules & cond apply lah. The UK got separate rules lah).

If u want cheap...U can have a Yang Bodoh Tupai disguised as an angelic Sentinel, if u use the retired gomen servant rm4.00 per rubber chopper!

I am still against gomen-awarded rubber chop-chop-chop stamper, elcheapo rm4.00 comm4oaths' sheer interest in the rm4.00-8.00, than to REALLY check/certify whatever docu that were laid infront of him!

Maybe thats why in bolehland we have such high cases of frauds, abused IDs, CBT etcetc...I bectcha many of the docu submitted to the institutions (banks, fin co, whatever) were 'certified & rubber stamped' by the rm4.00 chop-chop-chop stampers.

oh! thanks. Didnt know that. Last saw him last last year.

He was a retired legal clerk from Jabatan Laut.

I dont think "anyone" can become a CoO...

Some school stuff, you can get the headmaster to certify....

Some office stuff, you can get HR manager to do that....

Rather than going down to the Singapore High Commission in KL, I had the alternative to use a Notary Public. It cost me RM200 in total - at RM50 per document - to verify my MyKad, my Passport, my Singapore "Re-Entry Permit" (PR lah) and my bank account (where they will TT the CPF money into...). It is very expensive....

En Zulklifly as stated by LBN has taken over the premise of Mr Choy. He has been operating from here sharing the same office of an insurance agency since early 2010.

The address is

49, First Floor, Jalan USJ 10/1F (TAIPAN) which is just 3 doors away from Speed99. The other end is Public Bank.

His operating hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 12noon and 2pm to 3.30pm

It is better to give him a call at his mobile 012-3033843 as sometimes he is not in the office even during his operating hours. He charges only RM 4.00 per document. By the way, if you need to do vehicle ownership transfer, please be aware that the new JPJ form (downloadable from www.jpj.gov.my) requires the thumbprints of the seller and the buyer before En. Zul certified the document.

Hope the above information helps.
