View Full Version : Firefly flight cancellation SMS

I booked and paid for a Firefly ticket.

The flight was support to be in the morning.

Two days before departure, I received a SMS from Firefly that stated my flight was cancelled, and the replacement flight now scheduled to fly at night the same date.

I phoned Firefly number to cancell my booking, as I need to arrive at my destination in the morning, not at night.

The staff mentioned somebody will call to cancell my booking. Nobody called. With no black and white from Firefly, I made arrangement with my credit card company to cancell the transaction.

Just wondering anybody in USJ.com experienced this before.

I have not experienced flight cancellation with Fire Fly before but mostly with AA.

However, I found out that if AA delays/reschedules my flight, I can always call them up to request an earlier flight or at any other times I so desire...at no costs to me at all...and they are always happy to help...just call this no: 03 21719333. I have done it like twice already..

But sadly, I can`t help you with FireFly but surely they should be able to cancel your booking and hold it as a credit for you in their system..like AA said they would.... :D

Hi Wira wan. It happened to me last year. Going to Kuala Terengganu I called FF coz I have some funny feeling. True enough, they change the flight time. Coming back, they called to say its cancelled and arranged to MAS. Went to the airport, no arrangement was made. Had to line up and many many phone calls almost 4 hours because others are in the same predicament. Wrote to them but no response.

Firefly website booking is also one of the worst that I have come across - tried to book a flight to Singapore for December, it can never be done - it will simply just show NO FLIGHTS. Wrote to the customer service email - no reply till now and it is already 2 weeks. Remember the MAS Idris guy talk so much that everyone is welcome to write him a email but try finding his email in the MAS Website and you will never find it. At least the AA CEO has his email address available to all at his blog as he reply! So much for a GLC :mad:
