I wonder why Klang is not reported...a drive in the evening along Kesas to Klang, would tell its story!

i think the klang thing is from the local factories not from forest/peat fires.. residents have been complaining for years!

Sigh... it's so hot and people in my house like to leave the doors and windows open. Thus the heat and smoke will come in. When I told them to keep it close... they complain no ventilation. What difference does it make??

You can access DEA website (http://www.doe.gov.my/apims/index.php?gmap=load&date=2009-06-12) to check on the API readings for different locations in Malaysia

Looks like all the gahmen overtures in the past to the Indon gahmen haven't produced any significant results. The Indon gahmen themselves are not seen to be doing much to contain the problem.
Oh well, another phenomenon that makes Malaysia NOT a nice place anymore to reside. Its now an annual affair that everyone here have to suffer. DAMN!

OK, how about migrating to the wonderfully clean, uncorrupted, efficient, cheap and fair Singapore? It is the next best thing, being so much like home .... however, they have the worst pollution every year because the smoke from Sumatra hits there worse than KL :)

Not just the haze is back, there's a rumour flying around the net that there's a bigfoot aka yeti or something on Setapak

What's happening to Malaysia man, first economic, then flu, then haze and now a bigfoot?
