For Form 3, I recommend Ms Diane in USJ12, she tutors both Math and Science for F1 to F3.
My son scored "A" both these subjects in PMR last year.
Now he is in F4, I send him to Mr Anthony at No 30 USJ9/3C near the Pizza Hut. My son says he is good and makes the lessons fun. He also teachers Physics/Chem/Add Math.
I will PM you both numbers.

Miss Yee, who is currently teaching in this area has now openings (limited only) as her PMR (going to boarding school) and SPM (going to college) students will complete their courses soon. She teaches mathematics and science subjects from secondary one to five. She gives one hour free trial lesson for new students and it is fair because then, we can judge if our children learn well from her and then decide if we want to continue. Of course, the teacher will also decide if the she can handle the students or not before accepting them. Rather fair to me.

She does private tuition on one-to-one basis. However, if you have small groups of 2-3 students you could still talk to her for private tuition and we can save some money from the fees and yet lessons are equally effective if not more. I think it can be more effective when children have a friend or two to interact on the lessons.

If you are not in time to get a her (meaning her time slots are all taken up) then please ask her if she got alternatives. She has a network of private tutors who are as excellent and experienced to offer you (if they also still have openings). These kind teachers refer students to each other to help the students get a teacher whenever they time slots cannot meet the time preference of students. That is how we knew them. She can be reached at 016 3125875

hi, teamplay. i know this problem that you are facing. that's why a fellow parent enlightened on looking for private tutors who are full timers or in focus. this friend told me she selects teacher who do not have other job(/s) besides tutoring. It saves you headache.

by the way, the other friend of Miss Yee is Mr. Wong and his wife at their home in USJ 3 are full-timers as far as I know. isn't that very near to USJ 11? Mr. Wong or CK organizes groups up to 10 each but he does not visit your home. It is still private tuition because you have smaller and more effective learning group yet it is more affordable than one-to-one tuition at your own home. His h/p no. 0163796757.

Thanks mel2m for your help. We are sad that the current tutor can no longer tutor the kids because she more than a just a tutor to them. She advises them a lot and the kids sometimes tells her what's troubling them. That is why I really appreciate her. Might try out the tutors that you recommend. Thanks again.

You are welcome, Team Play. Those tutors I recommended would probably resemble your children former tutor because I really started knowing them through my friend's children. They talk so much about these tutors. I guess you really have to be down to earth to really click with the kids.
