Hello Robert,

I am writing to you on behalf of my aunty, Puan Haslinda.

Her father of 74 years old went missing after going out for a walk from her house at SS15/5F yesterday evening at about 6pm.

His name is Othman b Manap and he suffers from dementia. A police report has been lodged at Balai Subang Jaya (at 6.46pm today).

He was last seen wearing a blue & white stripe shirt and blue track pants. A copy of his photo is attached with this mail.

Please call Encik Ridza (019-3873548) or Puan Haslinda (012-3025420) should anyone come across Pakcik Othman.

Thank You
Danial

I have called Puan Haslinda and she has confirmed that Pakcik Othman is still missing as at 11/05/2009 1pm - Robert

Subject: Pakcik Othman Found!

Dear all,

Glad to inform that the person Dave found on Sunday at 9.20am was indeed Pakcik Othman. After receiving his mail, I contacted Sub-Inspector Amir (Balai USJ 8) to confirm this matter and he told me there's a Pakcik with them. I immediately rushed to Balai 8 to identify him and Amir was kind enough to arrange his patrol car to send Pakcik to SJMC.

I think Dave deserves a big pat on his back for being alert and responsible by waiting until a patrol car to pick Pakcik up. He is down with high fever, dehydrated and weak due to lack of sleep. Pakcik is warded for further observation. The clothes that he was wearing was not even his. I guess some irresponsible people must have swapped theirs with his...

A special thanks once again to Dave for responding so quickly.

And to Robert, Joe & Teoh, now I really know how well the community responds to emergency cases!

Thank You.
Danial

The Dave that Danial is referring to is a member of SJ Alert who lives in USJ1.

His quick reply to the SJ Alert EMS resulted in the quick recovery of Pakcik Othman.

If every member of our Community was like Dave, this would be a much safer place.
