View Full Version : SS18 today (30/4/2009) beware, a slow moving motorbike survey houses
Few minutes ago, I notice one guy on a motorbike, dark clothings, dark sunglasses.. cant see the face... goes very slow outside my house for a while, then goes few house away... slow down, like doing a survey on the houses. I dont think he is looking for house for sales as there are no house for sales signboard in these houses. I am not sure he is looking for friends or not... but to all the people who has friends in SS18, be very careful today.
My location is SS18/4D.

The next time you see such an incident just call
Balai Polis SS17 - 03 5633 2222
C/I Tuan Sulaiman Bin Baputty - 019 3707100
tell them that you are a member of SJ Alert and that there is a suspicious motorcyclist riding around aimlessly in your area and they should send a Patrol car within 10 minutes most times even earlier.
If everyone does this, there will really be nowhere for criminals to hide in Subang Jaya.
Now that's what everyone wants right?

Should a similar case occur in USJ, should we call the USJ8 police station then, instead of the SS17 one?

the thing here is while we all complain about crime not many of us are prepared to do anything about.
they are always afraid to make the step to call the police.
there is absolutely nothing wrong in calling them just to say that there is a suspicious looking motorcyclist (brief description of him, bike, plates) and where he was last seen. give your name and contact.
the police will not harass you, arrest you or beat you up. and most importantly, you'll be glad you did something.

Normal lar typical malaysia attitude. My house was broken into a few years back while i was away. After everything was over, police report etc. My neighbour had the cheek to tell me he thought he saw some one on my roof but thought i had called some one to check on the roof... at night, when nobody was at home...

not just inform the police but also post the information here... I think this forum is a good place to alert the public of such incident. The police may not be able to bump into that fellow by the time they come over... at least everyone is aware that such person is doing survey on houses and everyone staying nearby be alert.
