View Full Version : How to get training courses approved for HRDF funding?

I am sure there are some experienced corporate trainers out there in USJ.
How does one go about submitting a program (an internationally-franchised course) to Ministry of HR for HRDF funding approval for the participating companies who send their employees. The program costs about RM3,700 for 3-day workshop.
Secondly, I also designed a training program on "Financial Management for Non-Finance Managers (FMFNFM)" on my own and have got the course copyrighted in Australia, how do I get a self-designed course approved for the same HRDF funding for companies sending their staff?
Hope you can help this semi-retiree earn some extra money for old age...

To get approval for a course you need to download and complete either form PSMB/PER/1/06, PSMB/SBL-KHAS/2/06 or PSMB/TP/PRO/2/06 from:
http://www.hrdf.com.my/wps/portal/PSMB/MainEN/DocumentsCenter/Form/!ut/p/c5/04_SB8K8xLLM9MSSzPy8xBz9CP0os3hnd0cPE3MfAwP3MEszA0 8D9yBzI3cXQwNjQ6B8JJK8v5GvgYFRmJOJl4-Bu1GwozlJug0M3YC63QxDjA2cjQ2BTAK6_Tzyc1P1C3JDI8odF RUBl9gHvA!!/dl3/d3/L2dBISEvZ0FBIS9nQSEh/
Hope this helps... :)

Thanks Amy. We have to present the completed forms to the HR Ministry personally? Do we need to attach the entire course content plus trainers' profile or just a course outline and trainers' profile?

It better to present it in person. That way, if there's anything missing, you can rectify on the spot. I spent many a week going up and down to Chase Perdana...
You're also going to need to attach many, many things; and up to 9 copies of certain forms. LOL! You will also need to attach 1 copy of the manual and submit 9 copies of 2 trainer's profiles (if I'm not mistaken). And most importantly, RM 300/course for processing. The complete list of the things to attach are the 1st page of the PSMB/TP/PRO/2/06 form.
Note: The requirements vary for different schemes (PROLUS, PERLA, SBL-KHAS), so you need to determine which scheme you wanna claim from before submitting all the docs.
Good luck and Happy photocopying!

Wow all this copies are pure madness. A lot of European corporations put this in their email footers now:
Please help **The Company** to respect the environment by not printing this email / Var vänlig hjälp **The Company** bevara naturen genom att inte skriva ut denna epost / Sila bantu **The Company** untuk melindungi alam dengan tidak mencetak emel ini / Merci d'aider **The Company** ā préserver l'environnement en évitant d'imprimer ce mail / Bitte drucken Sie diese Nachricht nicht aus und helfen Sie so **The Company** dabei die Umwelt zu schuetzen / Por favor ajude a **The Company** a respeitar o ambiente não imprimindo este correio electrķnico / 请帮助 **The Company** 遵照环境不要打印这封邮件
I like this! When are we going paperless here? At least USJ.com is paperless. The Malaysian Insider too ;)

Once again, many thanks Amy. I was told it is really messy process and that was why I posted here thinking someone would be able to provide a shortcut.
When you think that you can download an application form from the Singapore government's CPF Board and submit the same online to withdraw your CPF fund (almost RM400,000) without much fuss, why are our eKerajaan still so backward?
