DVD Recorder

Looking to get a DVD Recorder(with HD). Are those China brands good enough? I have heard some who say they are just as good, and probably less 'fussy', just like their DVD players. Any one has any experience?

You can get a DVD Recorder (on DVD) for less than RM500. Brand phillips. Got timer and record off air TV, havent tried astro or DVD to DVD-R. Can program multiple show, time, date, channel. One DVD about 3 hours plus.

Kinda useless recording highly censored shows and DVD disc are not cheap either than those uncut movies selling at RM8
