This was an SMS message that I received from the USJ5 Neighbourhood Watch Group - Robert


Usj 5 commitee member encounted tis on Fri. My home encountered an incident of an attempted robbery. Two guys under disguised of Telekom man on pretext wanted to come in to the house for checking purportedly a complaint has made. At the time only my son ,Howard was alone with the maid. Luckily he called his mum to verify the antheticity and was advised that no such thing and he immediately closed the doors. Soon he left the premise as they turned their back, my son saw one of the men carrys a parang behind him. Kevin, This was the incident once you related to me before: Bogus telekom men attempt robberies ! Just for your info.thks ak.

Hi Robert - fyi, similar situation happened around 11am on Tue (16th). Two "Telekom" men asked to come into the house. Son called and told him to ignore them.

The next time anyone comes into contact with these people, please contact the Police immediately.

Even if it were a mistake, it does not really matter. During these times it is better to be safe then to be sorry.
