yes, that's what the Matta fair top guy is encouraging claiming the lower exchange rate for aussie dollar.
What's your take?

it's true to some extent... AUD is at 2.40 now... a trip to Australia and NZ will be perfect, since NZ is at 1.80 when last year it was at 2.70 I think?

But it's not only the exchange rate, now with AirAsia it's dirt cheap to go. You can fly return to Melbourne at just RM354 nett when AA offered their free flights.

Of coz it's a good time. It's his job to convince you.

Ultimately it will be your choice of whether spending this sum of money will affect you in this economic downturn.

Please ignore the stupid Hong Leong ad of borrowing money to travel. That will mean disaster later on. :p

how come a travel topic has mutated into finance now...... My concern is always the weather, during my last trip to QL, first half of it was quite cccooooooolllllldddddd......... and rainy. Hence I was trapped in the motel for 3 days. But now should b hot instead huh?

It may be getting more expensive to go on tours as our ringgit value is dropping against other currencies. On top of this make sure tour agencies leave you on the lurch. In times of economic crisis no one is going to protect you if you get into trouble. Best bet is to stay at home and visit places via the Internet. It's free!
