Subject: SJ Alert EMS Subang is in for massive JAM from Perisaran Setia
I wish to call attention to the impending confrontation between UEP
and the residents. The bridge linking Batu Tiga to USJ/Subang is
scheduled to open at the end of the year. If you think traffic now is
bad, wait till the bridge is open when a minimum of a thousand cars
will be added to our roads all trying to get through the congested
junction at USJ12 school.
The condition for the bridge and for UEP's project at Batu Tiga is for
them to build an exit slip road from SS19 to KESAS. This would allow
traffic to flow better. However in our meetings with UEP, it appears
a sudden change of heart and a reluctance to go ahead with this exit
to KESAS. If at anytime the bridge is completed without the SS19 slip
road, we must stand in solidarity to prevent its opening.
