Consuming less sugar will actually be good. It reduces the chance of getting diabetis. :D

Any price increase of essential goods will have domino effect. Its a very likely phenomenon in Bolehland. Just be thankful there's a clear warning right now. Lets not suddenly focus or concerned just because there's mention of diabetes. Too many hypocrites, cakap tak serupa bikin, like boycotting this and that. Doesn't work lah! (of course there's many exceptions). Change lifestyle again?

Gomen no more money for subsidies la...

Thank you Idris Jala... thank you, for weaning the Government from subsidy expenditures (perhaps so that they can concentrate on spending tax money to pay for eg. 50sen for every emails sent by Tricubes! on behalf of the Govt.)

Yup - so now better to have your coffee/tea at home instead of at your fav mamak restaurant!

If the government can spend RM50-60 million to pay for unnecessary emails using myEmail by Tricube, why is it they have no money for subsidising sugar? Why do they always use the same excuse, our sugar (or whatever they increase like fuel) is still cheapest in the region?

I believe the latest 20 sen per kilo increase is unjustified (that is a RM200 per metric ton increase) because the price of sugar is stable in the London Futures Commodity Exchange!

The Star Online, MCA-owned and pro-government said unlike RON95 will go up in price until after the General Elections. Read it HERE! (http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2011/5/11/business/8657461&sec=business) :D

Malaysiakini.com, obviously not pro-government but independent news forum, says the price is likely to be upped soon. Read it HER! (http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/163854)

Who do you think has the right prediction?

Its not that they do not want to increase. They are afraid of the repercussions if they call for a general election anytime soon and they cannot just reduce it back to the old level for the election. So they are in a catch 22 situation.

After delivering a election budget in Oct 2011, Najis will call the GE in Dec 2011 and after a thumping victory with all the Gestapos' assistance, he will raise RON to 2.10 per liter.

If we look at ron 97 as a guide it can go as high as 2.50 but now they are trying to defray any negative vibes by promising to reduce income tax rates. It would probably benefit people who are paying income taxes but for the majority and i would say the vast majority of those in public service they do not pay taxes anyway so it would not do them any good and they are the ones most screwed.

I have been at the receiving end for paying tax for nothing, for decades..

I donít give a damn if the public staff get screwed due to the implementation of consumption tax/GST, and they get screwed because they donít benefit from income tax deduction..

As I said before and I say it again now, the obese public service is just fit as ďvote bankĒ for the gomen. Slash them to 1/3 of the present numbers, life still goes on and probably goes on better.

And with no disrespect to those good public staff and to those who has no choice but bonded by scholarship contract,...public sector is a place for those worst-case-scenario materials who canít make it in the competitive private sector..

Anyway most of their time if not whiling away doing very little is spent attending kursus/seminar/ or whatever else they have at hotels where they stuff themselves with 5 and mostly 6 meals a day at your expense. I cannot understand how anyone can have 6 meals a day. They can because it is paid by us the tax payers

If they win GE13, RON95 maybe RM2.15.... if they win but still no 2/3 majority, God help us, its gonna be a punishing RM2.50 per litre! So, we either:

1. Whack them BN out completely....
2. Or let them win more than 2/3 majority....

Two extreme decisions, but don't whack them half dead ie win small of less than 2/3 coz injured dogs are dangerous

And you can see while BN increases price by 20 sen per kilo, the world price of sugar is trending down.... HERE! (http://news.tradingcharts.com/futures/7/5/158461857.html)

NO MORE MONEY TO PAY THE IPPs la... so take from the 'hard working' rakyat la...

exactly what BN means when they say: "rakyat didahulukan..." as in the people first - as a source of revenue la... what so hard NOT to understand...eh!

The rakyat has been robbed blind by these fellas and by throwing a few morsels at them during by elections they are gratified and vote for them time and again. Lets hope that they put in the gst and sooner the better. We see who kaput first.
