Ok, some1 asked me to read and follow her action with the michellin fatman..i read some of the posts. I didnt read all but i know the gist of the matter. Since i cant post there, hence this thread...

Allow me to enlighten the ignoramus, the snobs, the rude, the blur sotongs, the smaller-size-than-me,the lookin-4-trouble...

I know this particular young and pretty mid20s lady. A well travelled, experienced person and professional in the creative field. She was out with a couple of equally stunning girls. A girls' nite out. they went to a very established club, hung around the bar, and generally had a good time by themselves..drinking, laughing, dancing, giggling and looking really sexy by all count.

Then this tipsy guy at the bar, offered to buy my friend a drink. She of course refused the offer. He persisted and started 'hitting' on the girls. He offered to pay for their 'services/company'. Then he got rude and took out some fiftie$ and loudly claimed thats the price. My pretty friend, unfortunately having seen too many hollywood movies, promptly took her mug of beer and splashed the beer on the rude guy's face...yes, like in a movie. A hollywood movie.

This guy, now sober, took the empty mug and smashed it onto my pretty friend's face. Cut a long story short, the bouncers and later cops came...the girls were escorted out to the hospital and then to the balai...accused of being hookers.

The guy, an arab, claimed diplomatic immunity...he got off. My pretty friend got 30over stitches on her face & neck...and all the pretty girls got 'detained/questioned' until 6am before being released.

Moral of the story? Don't be too smart to act out. Still wanna Do so THEN be prepared to see to the end. Whatever the cost.
Just dont Meet the wrong person at the wrong time...

You're right there Tupai. The problem with our young ones are there are too many Hong Kong / Bollywood movies and they think these are the right things to do... monkey see monkey do mah! More often, they have to learn their lessons the hard (and sometimes brutal) ways.

If you see how some of the toughies in Bollywood movies jump down from moving train onto a running horse or moving jeep, some young ones may actually think it is heroic (or humanly possible) so monkey see monkey do lah.

I jumped from a moving train before. Although it was just starting to move. it's hard. You will definitely fall and roll on the floor. Luckily didn't roll under the train. :P

be afraid, be very afraid?

There is nothing to be afraid of yourself. Speak up for your rights. But do not get violent or loud or aggressive.

There is a difference between using power and using force. Most of us think of force but force is nothing compared to power...

and (considering the Ip Man thread is still alive and vibrant) it would be best to remember that "power is nothing without control"

Cheers, m

ps. sure, that quote is from Pirelli tires but it still works :D
