Just fancy that! VIPs who bully. If that is not Hongkong triad style I don't know what is.

I wonder if the victims took down the name of the police whom they reported to. What a sad case where the police failed to do their job.

By definition what's the duty of a police officer? Is it to protect the weak? protect the citizens of the country? Apprehend those who break the law? Administer the law?

Err buddies...Awana Genting Highlands n the Genting Highlands Resort...employ
their OWN POLIS BANTUAN...personnel.

The PDRM's Balai Polis Goh Tong Jaya...is situated OUTSIDE of those PRIVATE resorts...near to the Cable Car station.

Please do NOT jump into wrong conclusions...

Greetings.

I'll play the role of devil's advocate here. Are you sure that is the true story? What are they doing up at 5 am? If someone was that powerful then he'd pick you up at any time of the day to beat you to a pulp.

But on the other hand, if this is true then we are almost in a state of anarchy. God save us all..

I was told that the Genting Polis are private personnel, not part of PDRM. Is this true?

As of now, this is a one-sided story with no proof, no witness, victim with only names + mystery VIP.

Even what we read here is true, just bear in mind, we will never find out the truths, ever! It will be manipulated, as usual.

Guys, that is exactly the kind of attitude that will breed more VIP like that goon. We must not remain indifferent to such behaviour. Talk of about natural justice, the VIP must be exposed as who he is and not hide behind the gomen after the fact. It is like those who throw stone and then hide their hand. Isn't this the same tactic used by Hamas against Israel? Lob a couple of rocket and then get the hell away while letting the Gazan to face the music. Now I know why they support Hamas in the first place.

Actually, that no names are mentioned makes it more credible. Else why would they publish it in the first place? They have nothing to gain from it.

They don't need to gain anything.

They just want the readers to make personal assumptions, and help spread the without proof one-sided story.

The New Paper is a Singapore-published tabloid.

... showed The New Paper medical documents from both Klinik Genting and Changi General Hospital to prove that he had been injured.

He said he sustained mostly head injuries, including a small hairline fracture on his right cheek and bleeding from his right eye.

The couple said they reported the incident to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Dec 30.

The medical reports can support the claim the he was indeed assaulted. Now how about the fact that they reported this to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs?
Maybe they were afraid to lodge a report with the Malaysian Police due to the Datuk's influential reach?

Yes it's a one sided story and we should not try to pass any judgment on either party but then again who says we are? This is a forum not a court.

Singapore has a new casino and so to frighten more tourists away from a competitor in Genting Highland would certainly seal in the final nail for the competition.

But then again samseng politics exist in Malaysia as elsewhere so there is a possibility this incident could be true. But then Singaporeans are not exactly innocent doves they sometime portrayed to be. So did they get a taste of their own medicine?
