If you are taking public transportation, then you can use Rapid KL U67 or T523 to get to Subang Parade and get on the T623 from there. Make sure you are opposite Subang Parade because the bus will not go to Parade's side. T623 will bring you to the LRT station directly.

By driving?? Follow the LDP from Sunway and you'll see the LRT station to your right. Make a u-turn and you'll be there.

Peace.

Exactly where is opposite Subang Parade. Could you give me a land mark. My son is in Help Institute, I have to drop him off at Kelana Jaya LRT and find the nearest express way to Putrajaya (where I work). Later in the evening I will have to pick him up at the same LRT (on my way back from work). Cheers.

Thanks for the earlier directions.

Thanks for the earlier directions. The main bus station in Subang Jaya is at the Carrefour on Jalan Kemajuan Subang, next to Subang Parade.

On the Carrefour side, pick up:

U62 (to Sunway)
U67 (to KL via Fed. Highway)
U76 (to KL via Sunway & Old Klang Rd.)
T523 (to USJ8 via Subang Mewah)
Minibus #66, 77, 99

On the opposite side, pick up:
T623 (to Kelana Jaya LRT via Federal, LDP)
U67 (to USJ8 via Jln. Tujuan)
U62 (to Klang via Fed. Hwy)
Metrobus #13 (to KL via Jalan Jengka, Sunway, Federal Highway; to USJ 8 via Jalan Tujuan, Pers. Murni, Subang Mewah)

Based on your description, you will be spending a lot of time on the LDP. Try to use the Majlis link (the flyover near Nanyang Siang Pau) to avoid the congestion at the motorola interchange.

Alternatively, drop your son off across from Sunway Pyramid and have him cross the highway and take the T623 bus from the Sunway Pyramid bus hub to Kelana Jaya LRT station.

I am trying to get more direct RapidKL service from Sunway to Kelana Jaya LRT station but RapidKL refuses to budge from what they have now.

Cheers, m

LDP = Lebuhraya Dsara Puchong?[/QUOTE]The LDP is the Lubuhraya D'sara Puchong.

Maju Expressway is the name for the KL-Putrajaya Highway.

Majlis Link connects the Federal Highway and Sg. Way Free Trade Zone to Jalan Majlis. If you use it you can bypass the Motorola interchange. When traveling on the Federal Highway towards KL, take the flyover ramp just before the Selangor golf course and Nanyang Siang Pau. That will take you past the Western Digital factory and you can access the LDP towards Kelana Jaya LRT station.

All this talk about making public transportation more friendly is really just empty talk.

Their buses are jam-packed with foreigners and they are not on schedule most of the time.

I emailed rapidkl about a bus from puchong to bukit jalil lrt for ages and nothing has been done.
