Just now someone on motorbike stop infront of my house in SS18, then he took out some paper infront of my gate. When I come out he ask me about some motobike ronda at night with yellow lights, then he notice I look blank ( I am blank ), then he say nevermind.. goes off.

Does anyone know what is going on ?

The same occurred here in ss19/1, i.e. approached by 2 guys on mbike and introduced this security service around here. Apparently, they claimed that more than 200 subscribers in ss19/1 are paying for their night patrol service from 10pm to 6am, by paying rm30 per month. They gave a flyer with some hp no to call, in case i need to clarify with their management on this service.
I called up the no and spoke to the some guy in charge. I told him if if they could organize to have this 19/1 cordon off between those hours of 10 am to 6am, i and others shall be happy to subscribe to security service they could provide. Told him to organize as there is no RT group in this area but the mosque group looks quite close and active around this area.
Anyone else staying in ss19/1 interested in this scheme?
:) :)

wow, quite good money for riding motorbike around from 10pm to 6pm... more than 200 subscribers, RM30 / month, comes to more than RM6000 per month.

You are asking a "security company" to organise your RT Group? That's a pretty interesting way of pushing away responsibility.

If you are really concerned about crime prevention, organise yourselves properly like what the various Neighbourhood Watch/RT/RA groups have done through the years.
You can then employ these security services people officially and they will be answerable to the residents. The way I see it, they are not answerable to anyone presently.

If you need help from SJ Alert just let me know.

You will be surprised that there are a lot more people out there who will lend a helping hand, if you asked for it, but more importantly than that is that you must be prepared to "walk the talk".

A fellow resident from 19/1 has sent out flyers, calling for residents to attend meeting at the only surau in 19/1 to discuss further on this mattter.
I shall appreciate if rep from SJ alert could attend and give some suggestions, with shared experiences, rather than all starting out back to square 1.
The meeting is on the 11th Jan, at 2pm.
The person calling this meeting, as stated in flyer is
Mhd Nor Samik hp no 019-2885409
