Some group of people commented about putting zinc sheet below roof tiles for avoiding leaks, thief entering via roof and heat insulation.
Wouldnt it be hot if you insulate the roof?
Then you have to put ventilation fan to cool it..... :D

hi, zinc sheet doesn't help to reduce heat. My house had installed it because leakage problem for many years, no contractor can solve. i think it has nothing to do with insurance, haha! Just like our gate and grille to protect from thief, if really not insured then no one will buy.
I have fibre-glass insulation under my roof, it does help. Unfortunately got people say its not very healthy.

yes true, fibre glass is itchy and toxic. there's y my company in food industry is restricted for using it.
