If anyone still remembers, the prices of food at the kopi tiam and mamak shops went up substantially after the hugh 40% price hike. Does anyone see these prices dropping now? The damage has been done as far as the ordinary people in the street is concerned.

Guys, please remember these ready-to-eat food outlets are not at the top of the food chain.
They too are at the mercy of their suppliers/manufacturers.

If there is a culprit, I would say it is this gomen for the drastic increase!
If only they had manage it well and not panic.
They should have at least gamble on the world oil demand to drop after the China games.
They should have a gradual increase, like now what they are doing gradual DE-crease, to lessen the impact.
Alas they did the opposite.
More flip flip policy?

This morning, in Singapore, the petrol prices are down by five cents and diesel prices by 10 cents.

This is the second price cut since Oct 7 - just over a week.
