View Full Version : house window tint
I am looking for any products that will allow me to look outside but not for those ourside to look inside my house, day or night? Its for my kitchen windows.

lly, I had a former neighbour who had "tinted" his master bedroom windows with "peel & paste" meant for the upper part of car windscreens. I dont know what it is called but he said he purchased it from a car shop in USJ9.
He has moved out about 3 years ago but the 'tint' still looks good. Only thing is, from the inside looking out, everything is in a bluish tone.

There are available those mirror reflective types of tint.
But these are only good during the day, when the light on the outside is more than inside.
At night, you can have more lightening on the outside and tone down your kitchen lighting else get blinds for more privacy.

Martianl, I have a similar request too, wonder what's the best option? Mine is with the front glass door, it gets hot in the afternoons, and at night it gets 'transparent".

i did 7 window panels..only those facing west. i got it quite cheap( i think!!) cos they hv tinted a couple of my cars, so 'special' price la. not sure how much it would be if just for the windows.
