I am not able to access the Maybank2u online website for the past 4 days. Anyone having this problem? My internet explore cannot display the webpage for www.maybank2u.com.my but its 'maybank2u.com.sg' is ok. My friends in other places can access except me. :(

As usual, there are lots of debts pending for online payment at beginning of the month. dont want to take trouble to pay at the counter or atm machine.

Any clue to this access problem? many thanks..

the error message is just 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage'.
I have no problem in opening the website for cimbclicks and maybank2u.com.sg and other websites except for www.maybank2u.com.my .
I even googled 'maybank2u' and clicked to its link but still fails. :mad:

Try using Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/) browser, sometimes there might be something wrong with your IE setting. I had this problem long time ago. After upgrading to IE7 no more problems.

After upgrading to IE7 no more problems.

And after going to IE8 Beta... screwed up my entire XPS laptop... now in the midst of reinstalling everything :mad:

Backing up everything on an external HDD before reformatting that XPS!!

Sheeeeesh! Stuck with this old one for the next few days !!! :(

okie...i still believe its the cookies that causing the problem...

try this

1) double click on my computer at your desktop
2) right click on your c: drive and choose properties
3) click on disk cleanup

then ensure all the boxes are tick and then clean it

before that, you are using XP or Vista

Just tried and had no problems getting into maybank2u

I believe you may have a trojan in your system. It does not matter if you have the most powerful antivirus and firewall, spyware trojans will come into you system whenever you browse the internet. It could be more problematic if you went to visit some "bad" sites ;) The trojans, after being in your system long enough, will hijack you browser.

I suggest you get adaware (google for it) - there is a free version. Install it, update the spyware database and then do at least a smart-scan. Once the trojans are discovered, make sure you tick the box next to the identified trojans and request to delete. To be safe, re-scan again after a restart of windows.

I have many times gotten my colleagues out of a similar mess.

Let us know how that works.

Were you performing any windows update recently?

I would say, try Chang's suggestion, first, with the scan, if that fails, try running the below from the command prompt or from Run tab.

Start-->Run-->regsvr32 urlmon.dll

Start-->Run-->regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll

Start-->Run-->regsvr32 Msjava.dll

Start-->Run-->regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll

Start-->Run-->regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll

Start-->Run-->regsvr32 Mshtml.dll

Start-->Run-->regsvr32 Browseui.dll

Start-->Run-->regsvr32 Shell32.dll

Hmmm... generally yes, no worries its not going to mess up your system :) it like flushing (re-registering) the dll.
