im thinking to change to toyota rush.. any comments ??

Toyota Rush, this car look thin n tall. Handling wise its no good expecially cornering, you will realise it when u go Genting for spin. Power wise, it got a heavy body with a puny horse power, end of the day will burn a hole in your wallets. This is the same car as Perodua Nautica which is a 4 wheels drive car, only Rush is 2 wheels car. Strange is it? 2 wheels operate on a suppose to be 4 wheel drive car. :D
This car cannot go off road which defeat the purpose of this car. The suspension is poorly setup, when u really do go for off road you will be bouncing up and down, if you are tall type of person, i m sure you get a lot of bump on your head.:D

People buy this car becos its TOYOTA not becos of the practicallity and worthiness of the car.

My view is there is a lot of better car around, please keep your cash for something worthy of your hard earned money. btw its an ugly car to me. :D

Your assessment of Toyota Rush is way out of line.

Firstly, the car was not made for a spin up Genting Highlands. It does not boast a high horsepower nor does it have a 4-wheel drive. So, you are saying a badminton racket is not good to hit a tennis ball, it is not made to do so, spinning up Genting Highlands. In fact, in all my years of driving up Genting, only my little Golf GTI can spin its way up, 280bhp on 4-wheel and a light compact! But thats RM235K! man!

As for the suspension bouncing up and down when off-road, of course. The set-up and tuning is for on-road. Even if you take a Mercedes S-class off-road its going to be bouncing up and down.

I suggest you give a proper and fair analysis of a car than just rubbish it with unfair and unprofessional comments. There are some Toyota salesmen out there whose rice bowls were just cracked by your unprofessional comments.

BTW I have a Rush, its used to go into Pulau Tikus market for my morning marketing or to Balik Pulau to pick up some durians, it is the perfect car at this price. I am extremely happy with it. It cannot spin but good enough to drive nippily up and down Batu Ferringhi's winding road....

You are entitle to your Toyota Fan View and I am entitle to mine opinion. Stop shooting empty bullets, this forum is meant for sharing and not shouting.
Why should I care about Toyota Salesman ricebowl, its up to them to convince some people that only want a Toyota brand car like you. Another typical kind of car purchaser.

Look who is shouting. Look at who is being defensive? Talking about entitlement to your views etc but not allowing others to make a point.
Me a Toyota fan? You obviously do not know about the long-running battle in the "UMW Toyota Suxxx" thread or long enough in this forum... but its okay, go on and be arrogant, you are entitled to.

First, I get an SMS from a friend saying that HAN2 is argueing again in the Forum. When I come on to read (now, many hours after the SMS, because I was out with my family) ... I found the reason for my friend's concern....

Before my friend HAN2 chews my head off, let me state that I am being objective here and I am just presenting my findings ...

regines asked for an opinion on her option for the car. Sato gave his point of view. Unfortunately, his view was heavily against the choice ... OK, he had belittled the car but certainly he did not attack anyone on the Forum.

Then HAN2 became agitated because of the negative feedback ...
Your assessment of Toyota Rush is way out of line...I suggest you give a proper and fair analysis of a car than just rubbish it with unfair and unprofessional comments...

I have highlighted certain words in the reply which may have made people perceive the response to be aggressive as indicated by the following posts -

Lighten up a bit, please.

To be fair, Sato was probably wrong about saying HAN2 shouted.
Stop shooting empty bullets, this forum is meant for sharing and not shouting Sato should not have engaged HAN2 in an argument buy responding that way. He had also used an equally aggressive tone in his replies. Hence a banana is due for arguments.

HAN2, 2nd banana for attacking Sato's comments ... I certainly felt there is a better way to handle the response than to go for the jugular. As we know, a 2nd banana (while holding one) is to get fried and this time around, it will be for good since it had happened too many times already.

I am trying to understand why my friend had to SMS me that HAN2 is stirring trouble in a simple thread about a car. And I am trying to understand why some other members also openly pass remarks that HAN2 is being aggressive...

Aisayyy, this is just about individual opinions. Give the good lady your opinions - she can weigh the pros and cons and make her own decision. Just agree that there will be opposing views.

Chang, you ban me because someone SMS'ed you, thats all. I have said that you have been biased and unfair and play to the gallery and this action on your part proved it.

I disagreed with Sato, Sato shot at me, and you banned me.

Talking about being fair.... you are biased and you play to the gallery!

For someone to secretly allow another banned forumer to use another nicks to come in and attack others.... Chang I have lost all my respects for you as a fair moderator.

oh..im confused now...And for writing the following passage in this thread, I was accused of 'arguing' and 'being arrogant' (posting as Han2) and banned for good!

I got the feeling I have been axed for being critical of the behaviour of the owner of this webforum post-election... Master Houdini!

I also got the feeling this post will be moved elsewhere and hidden somewhere again like the others... and Sentinel banned for good too!

chang, can i interject? i do not think that han2 should be banned. in fact sato should have an extra banana for being biased. c'mon sato, Rush is neither THIN nor TALL in its category. Don't just blast off Toyota as u r biased. Have u taken down the measurement? make a thin vs tall ratio. Just look at our Proton Juara or our Perodua Kenari. Now how thin AND tall is the Rush?

Sato, it is highly recommended that u get your SPECS and FACTS right before dishing out such an irresponsible comment.
