Annuar is already in control even before he is elected as MP!!!!

1. Bar council forum - just some PAS members and a PKR MP there - the police and the Bar Council has to listen to them and close the forum. To me this is the darkest day as far as I know Malaysia.

2. Media - journalist and photographer injured and run for safety while trrying to do their job. - He is in control of the media and the police too!

3. DAP - the MP protested against PAS and PKR's racist behaviour - nothing happened - now that reminds me of MCA and UMNO!

Annuar is a strong leader - stronger than Dr. M. Dr. M tried so hard to pull PM down but not successful. He end up breaking UMNO instead. Annuar is already in control even before becoming a MP.

If Dr. M can change the system to keep him there for 22 years, I have no doubt Annuar can be there as long as he wishes if he becomes a PM - be him a good one or a bad one- once he is there no way you can remove him!

Here are the facts, Jenny:

Annuar is already in control even before he is elected as MP!!!!

SL: His name is Anwar, not Annuar

1. Bar council forum - just some PAS members and a PKR MP there - the police and the Bar Council has to listen to them and close the forum. To me this is the darkest day as far as I know Malaysia.

SL: There were more UMNO members and UMNO related NGO's there compared to 1 PKR MP and Pas members

2. Media - journalist and photographer injured and run for safety while trrying to do their job. - He is in control of the media and the police too!

SL: At the moment, it cannot be certain that the people attacking journalists are PKR members. In fact the PKR member who got arrested was trying to stop the attack instead.

3. DAP - the MP protested against PAS and PKR's racist behaviour - nothing happened - now that reminds me of MCA and UMNO!

SL: Action will be taken against Zulkifli Noordin and DAP has not stopped complaining. In fact, the deputy leader of PKR, Dr Syed Husin issued a statement the next day condemning Zulkifli's actions. In contrast with UMNO, PKR and PAS leaders encouraged the forum to be held but in closed doors.

SL: Yes there is a way. If Anwar don't keep his promises to unite all Malaysians and strengthen the economy, the voters can vote Pakatan rakyat out the same way that the voters will vote BN out in the next election and the same way the voters voted BN out in Kedah, penang, perak and selangor.

There's fear mongering and then there's sober reality checks. The latest two posts by Susan Loone would probably meet the latter criteria:

Anwar, can I drive you to Putrajaya? (http://sloone.wordpress.com/2008/08/28/anwar-can-i-drive-you-to-putrajaya/)

Why UMNO got trashed on August 26 (http://sloone.wordpress.com/2008/08/28/why-umno-got-trashed-on-august-26/)

JennyLim, if you want to be a cybertrooper, at least make sure you know how to spell the name correctly lah... how can you get paid for such sloppy job.

Most of the forumers here are seasoned members so welcome here and do your posting but you have got some credibility problem lah... so how?

Change your nick again lah or better still go for spelling class first and then come back here? You're always welcomed....

The biggest worry really is what happens AFTER PR achieves its immediate objectives and take over. Without a "common foe", will they stay together? It seems also Anwar is holding DAP and PAS together. Anwar is the compromise they are willing to accept to stay on course. What other leaders can act as that "glue"? 2ndly, when the govt changes, the mindset of the people also need to change to take us to the next level. I think everybody are all riled up and venting their anger at BN. Perhaps rightly, most of our economic issues, haze, flood, can't make ends meet. etc are blamed on the BN. When the govt changes, who do we blame? What happens after that? Will PAS and DAP resume their "rivalry"? I am not bringing this up to scare you guys, but its something we have to think about sooner rather than later. Sometimes, I think its better BN stay in power for several years (just joking), I have never seen Malaysians of different races being so united about a common cause before in my life. :)

All it takes is just a few more years and the resources in this country will be depleted by mismanagement. Anyway our oil reserve is expected to end 2015, just another 7 more years.

Corruption will continue and the judiciary will go to the dogs....

The police will continue to focus on the wrong problems and crime rate will continue to grow unabated....

Giant and mega projects continue to be built to be white elephants and awarded to crony companies without open tender.

You never know when your car is going to be skyjacked, your house broken in or your little not to come home from school...

Ketuanan Melayu continues....

Racial sentiments continue to be stoked by UMNO and BN politicians as was shown in the recent Permatang Pauh by-election....

I am also not trying to scare you too but I will rather have the change now.... cannot be worse than our present prospects.

Hans, of course change is happening and has to happen. And it has some positive vibes. What I meant was how do we stay united after our "common foe" is gone. We need to promote other commonalities. It does not have to be a "out of the pot and into the fire" type of scenario, if we work on this issues early. For this country's future to get better, its not just about changing govt, its about changing the mindset of the people as well. We are putting the power back into the people's hands, letting the rakyat have more say in where our country is heading. But therein lies the challenge, can everybody agree with where that direction is? One obvious point of contention is the issue of islamic state. I accept that we have to put this issue on the back burner - for the moment. But when the dust settles, this issue will come up again.

Greetings.

I thought we are working for the better future of the country, aren't we? It's not that we are plain anti-BN but the simple fact points out that they've been messing this country around and that is why we don't want them anymore. However, if the PR is turns out to be another BN, so what happens?

We are united against BN because they are a bunch of good for nothing loafers that are leeching our precious resources for the benefit of few (i don't think i need to elaborate who that might be). After getting rid of BN, what's next? Fabregas is right, what's our common goal? To get rid of BN only or for the betterment of our country for our kids? This has to be done in totality of our country's future and not a short term project.

By the way, sin leong, you have my respect with what you suggested to jennylim. Allowing dissent is another way to show BN the exit. We are not a communist country though they do seem to enjoy doing just that.

Pax vorbiscum.

The last time I checked, UiTM is considered off limits for students named JennyLim AND H.S.Seah.

However, you seem to have such extensive knowledge of UiTM's spelling methods that one is inclined to believe that YOU sir - and not JennyLim - studied there.
