Wimax Roadshow at USJ10/1E OLD TASTE kopitiam

I just tried their wimax. Download speed 1244kbps & Upload speed 547kbps. Not bad. It is under the 1.2Mbps. According to the salesperson...roughly can get 80%.

The booth will be for 3 days(till Thurs) at Old Taste..next to Berry Cake House. I ask them to demo at my shop and they can do it tomorrow. I need to test whether i can use wireless router to share or not. So far, with P1 Hotzone..i get good response & good customer service.

They have an updated map for coverage too.

They had one more recently at Asia Cafe on 13 and 14 of September. For future one, maybe you have to look out in the newspaper!

saw them at kedai kopi happyland (near petronas) in USJ 14 but don't know if they are still there.

Wireless connection has a drawback if you're those kind of users who would "tweak" your settings :p
ie. portforwarding
