Does anybody know any guitar classes available in USJ?
Wanted to change to another music centre coz find that my teacher can't teach well.
Hopefully can find a patient teacher who can teach well.
Any suggestions?

Are you learning classical, blues, rock, folk or jazz? Acoustic or electric?

Have you tried Play by Ear at Taipan? There's this old chap (forgot his name) who used to perform with Orkestra RTM, who seem to be quite good, is giving lesson there. His theory is solid and he can play and teaches quite a variety of style; from jazz to rock.

I have not taken any lessons from him though. Just attended the intro class.

I have learned classical guitar for a few months n found it very boring, so intend to switch to acoustic guitar.
I approached Play by Ear before, and think that the teacher is quite good also.
But the fees really will kill me, is double the normal rate.

Yeah, their fees is a bit too high for me too.

If you want to learn strumming on your acoustic here is a great website and it's free:
