Where is RTM "Siaran Langsung" of beijing Olympic 2008?

I am really disappointed with national TV channel RTM1 and RTM2 with their live broadcasting of Beijing Olympic 2008.

I do not see much of live or event belated sport broadcast instead a lot of discussion and blog talk about sports in our country. Just by discussion and talks are not going to improve quality of sport in the country nor increase interest of people towards sports. As a national channel of the country, they should broadcast more in games itself not comment, comment and comment.

Thus, as National Channel shouldn’t just broadcast only national sport which Malaysian involved. We shouldn’t just focus on what we have right now instead there is a need to look into different types and areas in world of sport.

I wanna see live olympic games broadcast and not Digi Olympic ads.

P/S: Not every family in Malaysia can afford astro at home. :(

I was also disappointed. Went to gf's sister's house to watch on ASTRO, but it was not allowed since they didnt have the ASTRO Sports Package. Apparently they were not allowed to show the opening ceremony on CCTV9 (the English channel). Instead, we got to see a studio with 4 commentators talking about the opening ceremony....

How sad...but I dunno ... it seems that things are all about money. Look at the Mascot's Parade - 2 times a day for the duration of the Olympics...but it takes place at the Olympic Park only...for those who are willing to pay.

Olympic Mascot Parade ... is it that different from the Disney Parade down "Main Street USA?"

rather then listen to rubbish commentary from the 4 boring stodgers of RTM, i take a walk down to my favourite mamak restraurant of course come with astro "olympic live", have a zip of tea tarik and enjoy the very very nice open ceremony. Who say we need to subscript to astro only can watch olympic live, just take a walk to mamak stall,nowadays most mamak restraurant boss know very well about what customer want :D
