Neighbour robbed and attacked outside home in SS18/5F

My parent's neighbour was attacked and robbed outside his front gate at 6am 2 days ago by 2 Malay men in a car. We are not even sure of the details of the car and the 2 men, as it was quite dark, and when people came out of their houses, they had already fled the scene.

this is a real worry for me as my parents sometimes enjoy going for morning walks as do many retirees.

Unfortunately for us, we live in a time where we have to be extra careful and suspicious of everything when we go about our daily business.

I myself live in USJ3.
