Where to sell Cans & Tins in USJ?

I have collected many empty cans and wonder whether where can i sell it in USJ? To the newspaper man?

Go to metal collectors all along Old Klang Road. Just be aware and not get cheated, especially their weighing machines

Aiyah why go so far. Go to the Giant USJ recycle centre which is way behind the car park. I think they are paying 15 sen per kilo. Ask your hero to collapse/squash all the tins to fetch a higher value. I sold all my recycled items there. They accept newspaper, mixed papers such as brochures and flyers shafted into your letter box, magazines and books and aluminium cans (please squashed them to get a better price) They have stopped accepting glass bottles while you can still dispose your plastic bottles and containers to them.

If you religiously recycle all those items I have mentioned, in a month you can get easily between RM 8 - RM 12 per household which is better than the Bonuslink points!!

Wahhh thanks for the information!! I have 2 big bags of cans (Nescafe Addict) and now i can make extra money to feed my car!! LOL..... Btw, do they open 7 days a week or what is the best time for me to go there??

PC, we are regulars of the collector at Giant but one day my wife tried the metal collectors at Old Klang Road and found at least one reasonable guy who gave much more for the junk we sent for recycling. But even that one tired to cheat on the weight, so have to be extra vigilent ... can't trust anyone nowadays. No need to stick to the Giant collector, i think they don't give good rates for the junk.

I found the recycle center in Giant already, it is indeed very deep inside and towards the end of the car park. I was told by the guy that the squashed tins will be RM3.50 per KG & only RM2 per KG for un squash tins. Good price??

Hello, tks so much for ur useful $$ info! I'm new to Subang, any idea how much the Giant Recylcle pay for newspapers, magazines, journals etc.? I think I just got "fleeced" by a old newspaper lorry vendor who came to my house recently! I was told to try out the Carrefour Recycle instead - any idea if it's any better etc.?!
Yup, I cud do with some xtra $ 2 feed my ol junk car, every ringgit counts nowadays!
