From your experience, any shop around Subang Jaya selling sport shoes (especially basketball shoes) with reasonable price? I do not mean cheap sport shoes. I mean not overpriced for a certain quality level. For example Adidas Garnett 3 can be expected to be overpriced in KLCC compared to Sungai Wang.

Last night I went to Times Square and went into Nike shop which was having everything 30% off due to relocation... Too bad yesterday was the last day.

If you are looking for squash shoes, I know a great place where you can get more than 30% discount from the market price. But for basketball shoes, I'm not too sure. One Utama (old wing) has a shop called "Pay Less Sports" or something, which sells sports equipment and apparels. It's on the first floor next to Watsons. Not sure if the shop is still there as I have not been to One Utama in a long time. Might be worth checking out if you're there.

Also try Al-Ikhsan at S.Parade and S. Pyramid.

Hoops Station in Summit is by far the cheapest branded sports shoes retailer I know. Please check it out.

The sport shoes there mostly old stock. The glue for the sole, can say expired d, spoilt easily.

Btw, the shop name's WHY PAY MORE.

Under the same roof as STUDIO R & RSH.

For special models like the one u mentioned, the RRP is the same throughout the country.

Only when a shop decide to have a sale or only limited sizes left, the price would be lower.

I am not into sports so when I buy sports show I usually go for Bata's Power.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! My budget is RM700. But one friend (a 19-year-old who prefers to play basketball in slippers or bare feet) told me those basketball shoes above RM600 have the same quality as the ones below RM300. It is just that the design date makes the shoes expensive. So is he right?

I am not familiar with basketball shoes market because I also play in slippers so far. :D
