Hi fellow residents of USJ, I would like to ask if anyone knows where can we dump our misc rubbish which the usual rubbish collectors wouldn't collect or if we would want to get rid of these rubbish ourselves without going through them. Misc stuffs such as spoilt furniture, books, branches and etc. I believe there used to be two large rubbish containers at the old SS15 wet market for this but if i am not mistaken, there aren't anymore at the new SS15 wet market.

Any heads up would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance. :)

Drive around USJ and you might find those huge blue coloured dustbin. It might be in front of some house doing reno. Or the junction in USJ11 further up towards the apartment. That junction got those recycling booth.

i don't think that it's fair to dump into these huge big dumpsters as they are for the dumping of debris from the renovated house. everytime the bin is full and have to be emptied, they charge a rate of RM60 or something like that. I remember when i was having some home renovation done, someone dumped their unwanted mattress and sofa set and rubbish into the bin. it had to be emptied and extra charges were incurred

perhaps calling alam flora like coleslaw adviced would be best. or the recycling booth idea might work too.

Sheet... I didn't know that :o I did that when my neighbours were doing renovation but not to the extend of mattresses or beds, just the normal plastic bag full of rubbish.

i was also guilty of throwing rubbish into the big dumpsters until i had to renovate my own home and realise that payment is needed. i stop doing that now that i know.
