i think its a prudent move. Dont' give a reason for aggrieved parties to take matters into own hands... Whatever the results. The people have spoken.. everybody must accept the results..

Fears of violence in Klang - 9.26pm
Pockets of alleged violence in Klang believed to be caused by opposition takeover have rendered situation in the area 'panicky', according to eyewitnesses there.

Two persons of Indian ethnicity were attacked by a group of Malays claimed one eyewitness there and have been hospitalised following the serious wounds inflicted by the assailants.

About fifteen minutes ago, another woman was again allegedly attacked by a group of Malay assailants and eyewitnesses claimed the target of attacks are on those donning the Hindraf-Makkal Sakthi t-shirts.

Police presence are also heavy in areas where the attacks have supposedly taken place. When contacted, police however denied that such incidence had taken place.

Prudent move by the IGP, I'd say...

mission accomplished.
all that civil society wanted was to deny bn another term with 2/3 majority.
since santa claus has overstayed and delivered much more than was asked for, lets just be grateful and thank almighty god for his guidance and miracles. and forget about the celebrations - its still the season of lent - the christian equivalent of ramadan.

ps - abstaining from celebrations include goading and the likes.

Whether true or not true about Klang, I saw a number of FRU trucks travelling along the Federal Highway heading towards KL (maybe coming from KLang ?)when I turn out from SUbang Jaya into Federal Highway this morning around 11am.
