Prevent?..I don't think so. I could access LKS and MT just a sec ago.
These sites have been known to be inaccessible at times for various reasons. Nothing to worry for time being.

I've a lousy day today anyway..had to format and re-install my WinXP (last re-install was a year ago I think) as IE7 was glitchy and some performance issues I felt a re-install from scratch is justified. Lousy day for me!. :o

I think too many people are trying to access at the same time. Many people like me have stopped buying the mainstream newspapers and are relying on alternative media for news.

Now the SUN (local one not the UK version :D ) also bought over by Vincent Tan.

I wonder why people bother to read the Local Sun when they can read the UK Sun.

I was able to access the blogsites without any problem (at 8.50 pm). Probably you tried to visit the website during peak hour (when others like you were also trying to visit the site) or you may have accidently set your firewall to block out the sites?
