Good write-up, I do see an effort to make things as simple as possible for a newbie. Some suggestions though: You could have given examples/URLs for each of the concepts you explained in that post. This will help readers get a better understanding of the new web. Also I found your explanation on 'cross promotion' a bit unclear. Also in UGC, you can mention that content sometimes gets moderated by users themselves as well, you can cite Digg as an example. Just my $0.02. Keep up the good work! ;)
