Farewell to Dear Lady-O-Leisure...

Err buddies...it wrenches Orchi's heart to learn the news that our very own Lady-O-Leisure aka Debbie...with her children Patrick n Sonia...would be leaving us real soon...for greener pastures to US of A...

Ahem yes yes...although Orchi is knowing that a new promising n brighter future awaits them...Orchi can't help it but feeling sad like having to miss her...n her children...already.

Most of all...Orchi is feeling terribly lost(it even took a long while before Orchi could post this)...cos Orchi is never any good at saying a long good bye...to a dear friend.

But all said, Debbie, all the Very Best to you. May the road ahead be paved with great happiness and good health for you and your whole family. You are a lady with such great courage and resilience. And you also have such a big heart for those who are less fortunate.

We will all certainly miss you but the world is so small these days and the digital connection should keep you in touch. And who knows, maybe we may even pay you a surprise visit one of these days!!!

I won't make a long long list, but i won't forget you all. Been loads of fun knowing you. All the tt regulars, WOW! Been 4 years already since i came back to Msia.

Well, I remembered this incident very clearly as it was full of comedy of errors. The punchline was when I got this SOS call from this damsel in distress, I told her, "My lady, your kitchen is on fire and you called me? Since your house is just a running distance from the Subang Jaya Balai Bomba, just run there and screamed for help." Er er I didn't know that instead of running there she chose to call Orchi. Sorry lah Orchi, she thinks since you are capable of putting out communal fires in our forum, you could have sup sup suay put out her kitchen fire.

(Note: To those not familiar with Ginaphan, she was one of our early pioneers on the forum and also our early TT session which was then called KYB sessions. She has since moved out of our precinct but she has always left a part of her with us.)

As far as I'm concerned the US is emotionally a very cold and shallow country. It feels like scuba diving in 3 feet of water.

When I'm in the UK, I feel like home, but when I'm in the US i long for home. Maybe she'll do the same....

I certainly am not moving there coz it is a 'wonderful' place. Never did i in my entire life ever dream of moving to America. It was never a consideration. Canada or NZ maybe.. Hhaha... the one and only time i went to San Diego Sea World, my late hubby (RIP) was not happy with me coz i chose to get drenched when the whales made their famous SPLASHHHH!!!!!! Everyone knew it was going to happen, so u either sit in the 'splash' zone or u run off when the time comes. I sat there lah. Went all the way to San Diego already, want to run away meh? Noooo way. I got drenched. It was winter. It was cold. Hubby was mad at me coz he was worried i would catch a cold. Some people don't know how to hv fun. ehehee

US....ayoh....sit until my back ache....always.... Really hate all those looooong flights!! I dont and cant sleep on flights....and also envy every one else snoozing away!!! Worse was when flying to Acalpuco via US. Nearly dropped dead when I arrived!!

Anyway, San Diego is quite a nice place to stay. Well, at least one of the better places to stay!! Sure will miss.....especially everytime I drive past SS12!!! Ha!!!...how to forget that playful little girl?? ;-)

Anyway, all the best and hope to drop by the States one of these days. Tho it is definitely not in my radar..sadly. Have had my fill of the US. Used to travel there till I nearly dropped!!
