Hi Gary,

I'm also new. Were you from USJ all the while? I'm actually staying in Kepong, but no classy sites in Kepong like this one.
I was actually looking for Home alarm systems and browsing in the web when I was directed to this site. Got some good and useful information from the forumers here, who by the way, are very helpful. Trust me, I have been writting to this site and always get replies.
There are a few jokers who keep the site lively, but by and large, a good site to meet new friends who share the same interests as you.

Keep writting in and join the fun.

Daddy ;)

WHO'S YOUR DADDY??? :D Just kidding! Ya, I've stayed here since err...96. You can create the Kepong site if you have the resources but Kepong is generally a 'dialect-specking' majaority but all these are changing. The peception of English-speaking crowd tend to 'classy-fied' the place or website. We should have a tt session(is there any?)

Hi gary,
Yeah, I read the Who's your Daddy joke, good one. Don't worry, I can take a poke as good as the next guy. I used the Daddy nick cos that's what everyone calls me at home, my 2 kids (3 and 5) and my wifey..
I would start my own site if I knew how. As it is, I'm new to posting in forums. The joke was in my first attempt at posting (at another site), I didn't realise I had to copy some funny numbers/characters from one box to another. So I ended up writting a long message 3 times because it never got posted!! Finally figured out what I needed to do, I was too fed up to re-write my message yet again!!
Don't get me wrong Gary, by classy, I'm not refering to the language. I'm sure there are a lot of non-english speaking sites that are equally good. By classy, I meant the crowd. Really classy crowd. From the replies, you can tell, the members are matured, caring and well travelled.
Take note though, the members are always vigilant and sensitive to newbies who try to take advantage of fellow members, disregard or think they can get away with not following forum rules. Run foul and you join the ranks of goreng'ed pisang's.
Which was rather funny, initially I thought there were Kawan Baru, then Setia Kawan, Budiman and finally graduate as Banana's...

Again, enjoy yourself posting in this site.

Daddy :)

Sorry Gary, what's a tt session? As they are fond of saying on this site, I am blur as a sotong!

It's basically Teh Tarik for short. I'm in other forums as well as these are the terms I learn from them too! :)

Hi Gar,
Interesting. So how does one start a tt session on the web? Or do you actually mean meeting up to have a real tt session at a mamak shop??

Blur sotong :o

Normally this kind of sessions are organised by the commitee/moderators of the site. You can organise also if you want to and judge the feedback from the other forummers if they're free. Then fix a regular place. I think this site have also, just have to check with the moderator.

Hey Mon,
Thx man. So tt session is really meeting up at some mamak shop to chit chat.
Great except that it's kinda far for me being in Kepong and all. Also wifey may think I'm up to something sinister??
Now if it's meeting up with a bunch of forumers for a family trip to Penang for some Penang food, I'm for it.

Daddy
