..... the police roadblock/checkpoint has now moved to the LDP section just before the Hicom/Shah Alam traffic lights (opposite Pro-Jet)....

.... expect massive jams till they 'close-down' the road-block.....

.... best to avoid this area for the time being during peak periods....

.... whilst it is a good thing to have road-blocks and check-points, IMHO think that the police should choose a better location when conducting checks like this....

.... everyone knows that this road connects to almost all the industrial areas in Shah Alam ( and beyond... ), thus the massive jams !!

Just don't get it why would they conduct road block during peak hour when there is no major OPERASI such as to catching robbers, etc??

some times i wonder if its trendy to whack the police. When they are no where to be seen people complaining they are not doing their job.. when they are doing their job also you people whack.. what do you want.... isn't having a road block a crime prevention excercise? i'll be the first to admit i just hate the roadblock causing jam and cannot see the logic in doing it in the evening but i suppose the purpose is not to catch drunk drivers eh..

Maybe you should ask one of the policeman on duty for the purpose of the road block.

Heard this was the residual effect of the recent failed drug raid.

Wish they were as diligent when dealing with the "rempits"

i am nuthin' but a twit of an ungrateful sob!
I bitch whenever there is a crime in my area.
I bitch when the cops were seen to be doing their duties.
i bitch when the cops weren't seen to be doing their duties.
I bitch when they failed to make arrest.
I bitch when they made dramatic arrest, with gunshot wounds.
I bitch when criminals drive camry to rob the sj+usj rich.
I bitch when they slowed me down to a 2minute crawl, during a crime-prevention roadblock.
I bitch bitch bitch bitch...

I bitch when they slowed me down to a 2minute crawl, during a crime-prevention roadblock.

if it was a two minute crawl - fine, can be accepted but if it is turned into a 30 minute 2 mile bottle-necked traffic jam, manned by one or two cops waving you by while the rest is sitting under an umbrella, then the manner the roadblock/checks being done is just wrong...

likewise, if it is a crime-prevention roadblock, then - fine... but if it is a knee-jerk effect from some other incident... then why the heck have the roadblock... imagine the amount of fuel and time wasted in the manner the roadblocks are conducted...

I'm sorry i dont get what you are saying. If there is a report of a robbery or something around an area and the police set up a road block, is it considered a knee jerk response?

Its a methaphor la

What I meant was - is this the reaction from the drug bust gone bad recently... therefore the sudden roadblocks every other corner... and not just here in the Hicom junction la...
