Hi.
Can anybody provide me information on badminton court for rent around usj?
Where and the price?
I heard there is one in the 3K Kompleks Subang Jaya.
How much is it?

Yes .. there is one in 3K and Jaya Square in SS17. There is another one behind Subang Parade and in USJ1 but I am not sure the name.. maybe someone can provide help here. Below are the rate for 3K and Jaya Square.

3K Complex
Weekdays (daytime) : RM20 for 2 hours
Weekdays (evening) : RM24 for 2 hours (from 5:30pm onwards)
Weekend (daytime) : RM24 for 2 hours
Weekend (evening) : RM24 for 2 hours (from 5:30pm onwards)

If no changes to the price.. it is RM45 for 2.5 hours during the weekdays.

I have called up the 3K and Jaya Square but there is no more court available during thursday and friday night. :(
We are not regular players so just going to book the court whenever we feel like playing.
Hear from a friend that there are school's badminton court up for rent, but she can't remember which school since it is a long time back.
Really in need of a court to play since haven't played for quite a long time already and to cut down my body weight. :D
Can anybody help me with it?

It will be rather difficult for you to get a court during weekdays night especially if you are not regular players. To the best of my knowledge, there are courts available on Weekend morning in both 3K and Jaya Square. You have to consider that if you are casual players. :)

Most welcome... We normally play at Catholic High School in PJ, but bcuz we are not regular, most of the time we cant get any court.

No need to go the distance for badminton courts, friends. SJKC Chee Wen near USJ 1 has just opened its new hall (10 badminton courts!!) for public booking.

RM 15 per hour.min 2 hrs/booking on a monthly basis.3 sessions per day (5pm-7pm,7pm-9pmand 9-11pm). Contact the school for booking details at 03-80236745.

Some word of caution though. The hall condition at SJKC Chee Wen is pretty bad for badminton-playing. Stopped playing there right b4 CNY because of slippery floor due to thick dust & also poor lighting.

Would advise to wait till the management of SJK Chee Wen take a serious look into above problems and rectify them b4 playing there. Otherwise not worth.

hi all,

long time since i last played badminton competitively (not for tournament though). Last time i stay in kluang coz i worked there. twice a week i'll be playing. And i'm the only women playing with other boys. but join jugak group perempuan, and in kluang badminton is active, mostly every week ada friendly game.

So now in kl got no kaki to play. i'm not good but i think ok la i main. so if anyone nak cari kaki, i dont mind playing with girls or boys. as long as i can play boleh jalan je.

those tak cukup kaki can sms or email me..then from there we plan. lemak tepu dah byk berkumpul ni...lol

Hi, anyone knows of any good badminton courts available at usj? We want to "migrate" from the place where we current play at.

Have tried Usj 1 Badminton Hall but the rubber flooring material too 'unkind' to our knees and ankles. When step to take a shot, it grips our shoes to an instant stop....aduhhh.....some of us get ankle/knee sprains.

Also tried SJK (C) Chee Wen but lighting is too bright and slippery floor....pulakkk.... Furthermore, had bad experience with the management's "tidak apa" and "money talks" attitude....

We need just a decent playable badminton facility - unglaring lights, visible lines, not windy, floor has been removed of thick dust/sand etc and broken feathers prior to handing over and a "customer-satisfaction is our priority" oriented management where we feel appreciated by the management ie. no switching off lights/remove the net before its time (because they speed up their clock by 10 minutes!), will let us finish the game even if it means 2-3 minutes extra,... will do.

The above requirements are hopefully not too much to ask for. Anyone knows any available preferably on Thursdays nights? Kindly share your experiences/post the contacts here, thank you.

It is rather difficult to get a court on weekdays.... but you can always try your luck. There is one court, I believe would suit you... Jaya Court in SS15. It is at the rooftop level of Imperial Palace Restaurant buliding aka Tai Thong. They used to have poor lighting but the last visit was quite a big improvement.

We find it more convenient if its at USJ. However will try Jaya Court as an alternative if all else fails.

At present we have about 23 members boys and girls playing together and to add more fun, we are divided into 2 teams ( blue and red) and will conduct internal tournament every 2 months. we played men's double, women's double and mix double also.
